No, but it's a very common theme in her posts. This thread comes up about one a month since around the Beta forums were brought online. It's most prevalant with anyone who played SMN in FFXI, however I really don't see the devs changing them much. They might make them slightly more detailed but the players want these grand looking summons and that doesn't jive with the developers vision.

Sure, they might not be huge and impressive, but even if your chocobo accidentally steps on and crushes one it's also easy to resummon.

Their "vision" here being a rip-off of warlock from WoW instead of a Final Fantasy summoner.
