There's only a max of 75 points for the weapon and secondary stats I believe, if the scrolls are to be read how they are. Why wouldn't you go like.. 44 Determination/31 Crit Rate?

Because Determination has a heavier weight (or lower cap, however you want to look at it) than skill speed and critical hit and accuracy.

Looking at other i110 weapons though I see the 44/31 caps... I'm just saying, if you have to infuse the scrolls with materia, unless you can only put in a certain # of materia, then you should be able to get 44/44. It just depends on what limitations they've established.

Also.. The Book of Spades has 31 Determination, so 22 is not the cap.. If you can do 31 Det/31 Crit on GB Novus that would be slightly better that 22 Det/44 Crit

Thanks for that info. Time to speedrun the hell out of Bray HM then. Expect inflation on Crit and Det materia for the next few days. Damn economy.

Det and Crit have been reasonably priced on our server, accuracy is what's been ridiculous. But yea, I'm sure everything will change with this new information.

Also, some people in my FC that have been playing since 1.0 and are somewhat "in-the-know" mentioned that it is in fact a 75 attribute cap.. With the first stat being 44 cap, secondary cap 31.. While information will slowly come out, I wonder if you could have 44 Det.. o.0

As much as I know, there's like a "primary" and a "secondary" stat.
For i110 weapons : the "primary" stats is capped at 44, or 0.7 times that value if det (30,8, rounded at 31) while the "secondary" is capped at 31, or 22 for Det.

For Novus, apparently when you infuse a materia, it only increases the counter by 1, not by the amount of your materia. Like, the first one you have to infuse is a grade I, you'll only have 1/44 and not 2/44.
I'd like to see a screenshot for det, if it goes up to 22 or 31. I'll probably know more whne i'll get these stupid inks (book 10! X_x)

So you can't make a 44/44 weapon, but you should be able to make a 31 det/31 crit. Unfortunately I feel like they won't give us the choice :<
