melding mataria to a scroll... and they had to postpone this update over a month? really? i'm seriously infuriated by this I would rather go farm atma for another 30 hours then deal with materia/crafting classes, this is novious it should have absolutely nothing to do with player crafting at this point. Not to mention this also completely removes any work from the player except for gathering the mats needed to meld. So in other words this part of the weapon is a pure who has the most gil race... which is not what the novious is supposed to be at all, gil shouldn't be a factor.

Having plenty of ways to get a catalyst won't matter when materia is 110k+ already and can expect to see 200k+ per materia(like accuracy). over 1 mil to make a novious isn't right it's not in the spirit of the weapon and they should have told us a month ago to start working towards the materia we need or saving money. Instead they told us we have quest and we are adding more ways for you to obtain items needed for novious. this is adding more ways to get 1 item a catalysit. when the real concern is that there is no where near enough materia on the market to support this, on top of the fact there is no way to reliably create new materia, it's all luck based and worse then atma. No there was no need to postpone a month for this update.

Should I feel worried that they didn't mention anything about fantasia potion apart from they weren't unique anymore? :<

this is what im thinking about now, even check mogstation and nothing under optional services.

they wont be added to the mogstation till the game is up again. I wouldn't worry as it would be kinda pointless to add them before we can access the game again.
they will announce it right about when the servers go live after the maintanance.

Many ways to get the Alexandrites, quite vital.

Why waste gil on buying materia III's or IV's when you can quickly and easily solo spiritbond for I's and II's?

You probably bought the materia you needed to make the original relic to begin with, so why complain now?

You probably bought the materia you needed to make the original relic to begin with, so why complain now?

I'm under the assumptions the scrolls are going to work like everything else where we are going to have to overmeld and use exactly the right materia, not constantly fusing lvl 1 materia. It would be nice if you have the option to use different leveled materia and use 32 lvl 1's but this would break every rule of the game so far, and to me this is just SE attempting to make use of that really awful and poorly designed materia exchange system they added.

There is also different ways to get the materia instead of buying it in the MB for millions.
Like buying gear for 10k and spiritbound it during a dungeon run. If you don't get the materia you want, sell it for millions

They delayed the patch from 2.25 to 2.28 to make FATEs (with Animus weapon) not the only way to obtain Alexandrite (with 2.3 it is also obtainable from CT). Maybe you liked the way we get the Atma stones, many people hated it that it was only obtainabe from FATEs.

So no personal housing rooms (within fc house), no new animations and blm buff.
Really this update those not really have much at all worth while. I guess 2.3 or 3.0 will be all the good stuff like Ramuh, buff, and doubtful but the new classes
The repair 199% is the most exciting thing really
