Thread: Myth changes - Anyone else disappointed?

Pretty much summed up by the title. Is anyone else disappointed that all they did was raise the myth rate of roulettes and CT but not the actual dungeons? I held out hope they had changed the actual dungeon myth rate, regardless of roulette but its not the case. So in essence they changed nothing really except add 50 tomes to CT.

Once roulettes are done you're still forced to run dungeons with substandard myth rewards to grind for myth gear. Just... really disappointed by this is all.

I would agree with this if people weren't already getting 300-400+ myth an hour doing Brayflox SR. It would be nice if the other dungeons got a myth boost but then people would cry about Brayflox not getting the increase, can't please everyone. I'm happy to see the increased roulette bonus, can't say that 50 extra myth is going to pull me back into hr+ long CT runs that i've been getting since 2.2 dropped though. Glad that 2.3 should be just around the corner and that I can roulette with friends now.

I seem to be one of the few in a minority who actually likes the new Ampador. I actually PREFER running Lost City over Broflex sometimes because it gets so tedious and annoying to just run one dungeon over and over again. But I suppose that's just me.

I don't think you are alone. In fact, I suspect the majority prefer the mechanics and ambiance of Lost City of Ampador, but the efficiency junkies among us and within us prefer Brayflox because there is no denying you are going to get in and out faster in Brayflox than any other dungeon.

Well, to salvage what little face I have left, I was pretty sure Amdapor was the right word, but he spelled it Ampador and I couldn't remember for sure... and was lazy.

You're definitely not alone, I think Brayflox is becoming taxing on most people, just like WP used to be. Personally I like Halatali, but I'm definitely looking forward to the new ones in 2.3 more than anything.

It's not just you Cervani ^^ And Halatali too, type of PvP is nice as well for a change. But people look logically into games. So they want the best for their time. Not bad, but.. unless you are masochistic, brayflox runs non-stop and asking to do it under 7 mins.. anyway, I don't know about this one, but like Aurum Vale, you cannot vote abandon until 15 minutes have passed..

We always do full runs (I like to enjoy and not rushing), so I don't know if you can get out after your 6-7 min runs?

Back on topic, I think they gave CT more love so we enter it again, since people is trying to make it 'dead' - not to blame them, few last runs were awful and discouraging >.<

+1 to roulette and commendation with friends! Woot!

I honestly thought I'd see: "An issue wherein we forgot to add Allagan Tomestomes of Mythology to the final boss in the dungeon Brayflox Hard Mode."

But yeah, I can see why people are disappointed with the changes announced.
