Literally the whole thing was about HT usage. I used it, I use dots, I use BfB, I use jump booster and Crit booster, I use backstabs. I literally have no idea why that player was freaking out.Sorry, do not understand me wrong. There are indeed people who are trying to tell you how to play and act like retards, but being ignorant for the way how to play your class, does not make you any better. I don't know if his advice was right or wrong, but there are always 2 sides of a medal and i've met way too many bad DRG's to blindly believe anything i read here.
I use every skill with dmg buffs and combo points/Dots.
If you don't like, or you think a certain player's rotation/gameplay isn't the right one, instead of complaining, you should teach how to do it properly, if you want to get benefit from it for your party and help you complete the dungeon better/faster. Freaking out because a player doesn't know a rotation YOU do, won't make that player perform the right one (and by you, it's in general, not certainly you). All of this usually happens because players can't be bothered to read their own skill descriptions. You should go play a single player game if you can't cooperate or take advice from other people. I'm sure there are people who give advice in the wrong way, but there are also people who do know more about your class than you do.
The problem is that when you tell someone nicely how to do something you generally get ignored because "I want to play the way I want to" which for most DRGs involves spamming out of combo full thrust and chaos thrust without heavy thrust up. If you're not going to listen to anyone to begin with why even play an MMO? Not once did I complain about anything, but most people wouldn't have to give advice if people would just take the time to see what their skills actually do.If you don't like, or you think a certain player's rotation/gameplay isn't the right one, instead of complaining, you should teach how to do it properly, if you want to get benefit from it for your party and help you complete the dungeon better/faster. I doubt anyone ever complains when a rotation isn't "optimized" to raid standards in duty finder but when people have gotten to level 50 without knowing the basics of their job people tend to get frustrated if you refuse to at least acknowledge their advice.

I take advice when I ask. Don't get snippy about subjects, I don't want it to get locked for getting off topic. The problem is that when you tell someone nicely how to do something you generally get ignored because "I want to play the way I want to" which for most DRGs involves spamming out of combo full thrust and chaos thrust without heavy thrust up. TRY to keep it FRIENDLY!
Sorry but no one is forced to play to meet your expectations or anyone elses. The problem is that when you tell someone nicely how to do something you generally get ignored because "I want to play the way I want to" which for most DRGs involves spamming out of combo full thrust and chaos thrust without heavy thrust up. I don't care if I get grouped with the worst of the worst or the best of the best.
How I hate myself right now for having to say this but some players really need to "check their privileges".
The problem is that it's not being told nicely. People just insult you or rage when you don't play how it is suposed to be/that other player wants, and expect you to immediatedly play properly, becoming an expert in the blink of an eye. Constructive criticism always helps to improve, but bad mannered complains without explanations won't.
No one said you are "forced" to do anything, but if you don't at least attempt to hear what other people have to say, why are you playing an MMO? The other players of this game are not NPCs and its rude to treat them as such.
You need that other person to explain you what you're doing wrong, if he's gonna complain about how you play. Again, bad mannered complains won't help anyone, and surely won't make you improve because there's nothing to hear what other people have to say, simply because they're not saying anything but complaining the way you play, instead of giving advice.
Honestly, you should accept any advice given. Asked for or not. Following the advice on the other hand, depends if it's useful or not. But only accepting it if you ask for it, is hurting yourself or your group. If someone notices something you're doing is dragging the group down, but you don't see it, they should just keep to themselves or leave? Or even try to kick you? Instead of giving advice of course.
The opposite of this also occurs though, it's not always the big bad end game raider's fault. For example, sometimes when you give advice in a suggestive and kind manner players respond with "Don't tell me what to do" "Why don't you focus on your job" etc etc.The problem is that it's not being told nicely. Spending 90 minutes in a dungeon only not to complete it because someone refuses to take a little advice is frustrating for anyone.
