the longer the cap stays at one level, the more people will bitch when they raise the cap, considering the game has a crap load of content that is supposed to be higher level, (monsters, weapons, gears, leves, behests) which was already designed. It will only feel like they are holding everything back. Which they are, but still really if they dont raise the cap, they will be forced to create way too much content at the level 50 mark, and the more content that is at the level 50 mark, the more people will be upset when cap goes up. People are already thinking about 50 like its the final cap, I dont want to be stuck here.

Also, keeping in mind that they said it should take someone 2 months to hit 50 playing 2 hours a day in their perfect plan, and there are only 7 classes, lets be honest, most people will grow bored very soon. even if they find 3 jobs they like, and play sparingly, in 6 months they will be capped on their prefered classes.

Not to mention most people have hit cap on multiple jobs long ago. the game is in sore need of a cap increase, and its not that hard to raise caps while working on the game, they did it in ffxi, and most developers fix issues while increasing caps. Supposedly withing the next 3 months they will be finished with battle changes, which they claimed was the real problem so even in by their own meter, there is no reason to hold back content.
