    As an extremely casual player, the way you wrote it does not sound elitist at all. Hopefully the person noticed the change and will use it.

    We have no idea how she wrote it really. We would need the chat itself but even then
    the problem is via text is that it's very hard to know the person's tone. So he could of took it the wrong way if OP
    meant no harm by it. When I try to help I try to lighten the mood by using smilie's like this:

    so people know I mean no harm. It helps. n-n
