Make Lightning hairstyle available for everyone

When I joined the game, this event had about 10 or 12 days to end. Rushed like crazy and got the hairstyle + monk's fists, but too bad I couldn't level enough to attempt acquiring the clothing (and never imagined I'd level a scholar or would farm the book aswell). >:

Maybe it'll happen again sometime in the future...just maybe... the female set looks great for PLD. :3

What I want to know is, how on Earth did you miss this event if you've been playing since 1.0, bought the new game, and bought Lightning Returns? >.> The ads for this event were everywhere.

Perhaps with a new lightning or snow themed final fantasy game they'll re launch the event again. Idc I did it twice, I like both clothes and ill do it a 3rd time for my newest character. People need to stop being so greedy. Its not like you own your character. Ur just leasing it.

Not that they have much stake in it, but to call an event "limited" and then give out the rewards for free would be a bit off-putting for those who spent the time waiting for those lightning fates to spawn. Right now it's a cool little vanity item that shows they've been around a while, kind of like primal mounts showing your accomplishments with EX primals - it'd be meaningless if it were just given out.

Yeah, those were a lot of words. Limited gear/items gives it value, otherwise it's just like any other item. There will probably be limited items in the future. Do people get pissed when "Collectors Editions" are released and they can't get one new a year later?

We do not currently have any plans to hold another Lightning Returns: FINAL FANTASY XIII collaboration event, and we do not have any plans to add Lightning’s hairstyle to the Aesthetician or make it available from event vendors.

Well it fit with Lightning since she was fighting a bunch of things anyway. What'd you expect? To carry eggs across The Black Shroud for her? ;o

Honestly in general I would love to see cross over in hair styles. Would love to see Hyur hairstyles on Miqo :3

You don't need to unlock aesthetician in order to select a hairstyle when creating a new character, right?
Anyways, now that I think of it, you've got a point there: IIRC Lightning/Snow hairstyles are available just for characters that completed the event quest, so new characters won't have access to that hairstyles.
