20% Coil Buff Not Being Implemented???

Perhaps it would be best to make an educated guess based on information already presented. After all, the communication is so untimely, isn't it?

You only forget that there is little effort in saying "hello guys, due to this and that we decided to..." etc.

People did not guess, they knew there was no buff 'cause they tested it. Point here is they're just late in the day, again.

I forget nothing. Yes, it doesn't take much effort to make a small announcement. However, as my example above shows, poor communication from the developers is apparently the standard.

You shouldn't need to test to see if the Echo was increased if there was no announcement for it. Considering that they said from the get go that it was "scheduled" for two weeks after patch 2.25, and that even that was subject to change, I assumed there wouldn't be an increase or announcement regarding it until patch 2.28.

Communication is poor, but they should not need to test. Poor communication is the exact reason they went in to see if something happened. Would not be the 1st time we got a ninja patch for Coil. Kind of a contradiction right there.

I just hope, for all of us, they get more structured. This is just one tiny example.

Sorry it's called responsibility to the customer. Seems you can't understand that. There should be no assuming involved. If something changes the player base should be informed in a timely manner.

Or it could be that everyone forgot when they mentioned that scheduling for increasing the Echo may change depending on overall progress in the binding coil.

Yes it may change. But that does not let them off the hook about taking forever to say there was a change.

SE? Educated guess? You obviously have not been dealing with them long. IE: You never played FFXI for many years.

The only predictable thing SE does is no information (ninja changes), late information, confusing information (VERY poorly translated).

On the topic of poorly translated I remember when the player base caught on and started translating the German/French changelogs to English and getting COMPLETELY DIFFERENT or BETTER EXPLAINED things than the 'official' English changelog.

I'm not really that bothered about the reasoning behind the lack of further echo. I am however bothered that, once again it's taken way too long to communicate things to the players.

When it comes to how and where we release information, including that which comes from Letter from the Producer and Letter from the Producer LIVE, we’ll be making efforts to improve how we communicate moving forward, and we apologize for any misunderstandings that may have arisen this time.

In regards to future announcements, if there are aspects that may give rise to misunderstandings like the present case, we’ll be sure to make corrections and give supplemental information; however, we also feel that it would be more appropriate to execute our plans at the time we communicate when this is not the case.

To all the people who are just being all like "if you're having this much trouble with t5 you're not gonna get past t6"

How do you even know they want to move on to t6? You're just being needlessly antagonistic, just like all the people making useless comments like "you're gonna hate Titan EX" to all the people who had trouble getting past Titan HM. How do you know they even gave a rat's ass about Titan EX at the time? I know I certainly didn't. I'd imagine most people just wanted to clear Titan HM for their relics, kinda like how I bet most people just want to clear t5 to get themselves some Allagan weapons.

T6-8 are all easier then t5 was before the echo. And in some ways they are still easier.
