If they're capable of reading the main page, they're capable of reading the forum.
Most people do in fact NOT read either...
Most people just hear IN-GAME from others what's going on and what's new.
If only SE gave information when it needs to be given. It now looks some dev saw this thread and was like "Oh crap, we forgot about that 20%.. Camate, work your magic!"
I completely agree with no further buff being implemented. It's just rather late in the day which comes off rather lazy.
Dodge!
The only thing they need to learn to win T5...
I'm on T7, but farming T5 gears from time to time. For the past 2 weeks, all the DF groups wipes at the dive or the twister.... ALL of them...=_=;

Only problem with this is that just like Yoshi P said he doesn't want to allow "ninja updates" to happen in this game, this situation has basically turned into that. I don't really care about this specific case that much, but for future reference SE, if you say you're going to do something, announce it when you change your mind.

Oh wow ! Lol why are these people complaining then <,<Or it could be that everyone forgot when they mentioned that scheduling for increasing the Echo may change depending on overall progress in the binding coil.
As I said above.

* Implementation of the Echo buff and its effects may change depending on overall player progression and maintenance schedules.

People are crying that they didn't get a headsup about not getting 20%? Seriously? Do you guys actually set a schedule for doing things according to only if you are receiving a buff or not? Just get the mechanics down and you don't even need a dmg buff. Who the hell "plans" a raid based on a buff?

Sorry, but when we are told something and it doesn't happen, regardless if we are informed that plans may change, I like to be updated that plans did indeed change. It isn't that the 20% didn't happen or even that we were told that it might not happen. It is that we weren't informed that they felt the situation didn't call for an increase and were not going to implement it and chose to remain silent about it. That is what the "crying" is for.People are crying that they didn't get a headsup about not getting 20%? Seriously? You only forget that there is little effort in saying "hello guys, due to this and that we decided to..." etc.
People did not guess, they knew there was no buff 'cause they tested it. Point here is they're just late in the day, again.

I forget nothing. Yes, it doesn't take much effort to make a small announcement. However, as my example above shows, poor communication from the developers is apparently the standard.
You shouldn't need to test to see if the Echo was increased if there was no announcement for it. Considering that they said from the get go that it was "scheduled" for two weeks after patch 2.25, and that even that was subject to change, I assumed there wouldn't be an increase or announcement regarding it until patch 2.28.
Communication is poor, but they should not need to test. Poor communication is the exact reason they went in to see if something happened. Would not be the 1st time we got a ninja patch for Coil. Kind of a contradiction right there.
I just hope, for all of us, they get more structured. This is just one tiny example.
