See here's the thing about that. Nobody expects "average ilvl" to become a perfect representation of skill. And I'm not disagreeing with you at all. It's just that I think that, while agreeing completely with what you say, it wouldn't hurt to make the ilvl average a more accurate depiction of a person's relevant stats on their gear. Depicting skill is a lost cause. Depicting the difference between what an i100 body does for someone's potential vs an i100 ring should be doable, and should be done.
