In some iterations of Final Fantasy, Bahamut is King of Dragons because he usurped Tiamat, so it's possible Tiamat would be the Primal of Dragons. I suppose Bahamut is the best option, by far, but it also seems... I don't know. I don't like the idea of the dragons having the Primal so devastating he caused at least two umbral eras and was imprisoned in a moon as theirs. You'd also think the summoning of Bahamut would be something Dragons venerated, but they didn't get involved at all. I don't know who else it could be, but if the Dragons still venerate Bahamut they have a funny way of showing it.

Yes, I could see Tiamat being the primal of the dragons. It would be a fitting choice.

Well in the storyline Midgard is the great dragon they called in to fight the giant ship that he crashed to make the city of Ishgard. but since hes dead and wrapped around a building im not sure if he can be the dragon primal or not.

either way it better not be a reskin of Svara or drg from Bray normal. that would just suck and be lazy

Um, I think you're confusing the Keeper of the Lake in Mor Dhona (which is the wreck of the Garlean airship the Agrius entwined by the corpse of Midgardsormr) with the city of Ishgard. Ishgard has long been in Coerthas and was never built on the wreck of any airship. Funnily enough Limsa Lominsa was built from the wreck of a ship though (the Galdion), but that's another barrel of moogles...

It's been stated that midgardsomer was a dragon king, and another was mentioned. I suppose it's possible that Bahamut is the dragons primal, but so far there seems to be a difference between primals and elder primals, so that'd be surprising to me. Sorry for spelling, on my phone.

oh sorry must have been mistaken then in 1.0 when you looked in distance at Ishgard it looked just like the wreck with him wrapped around it and it also showed it in opening C/s in 1.0 but i may be wrong just remember standing out there and looking at it all the time.

I'm wondering if they could ever be turned into playable races...
Not only that, there is evidence that we’re getting at least one new Primal to deal with — Shiva. And besides Shiva, we still do not know the primals of the goblins, the qiqirn, and the giants. I doubt the Mamool Ja, not being from Eorzea, have a primal.
Shiva has been *highly speculated* somewhere to be the Giant's Primal, and you forgot to mention Ramuh coming down the pipe sooner or later!

Actually it has not been confirmed that Shiva is the Giant's primal anywhere officially.

This can easily be rectified. In-game, go to Revenant's Toll and examine the area to the south-east. Then go to Coerthas and go to the northwest of the Aetheryte.
