I didn't mean to imply that Yoshi-P is incompetent or doing a bad job. All I'm saying is that he's human and as Traek said, his words shouldn't be treated as gospel. People tend to overthink and overanalyze his words.

having everyone start fresh works better for what the devs want (more people playing tanks *now*) though I doubt it would be a full reward because, if they rewarded past behavior, there wouldn't be a major impetus for the current tanks to be more active since they'd already have the mounts.

This is pretty much exactly how I feel about the Tank reward. Even if it goes against what Yoshi-P said ("rewarding people currently playing as tanks"), the incentive would not be very good if all the veteran tanks already had their mounts as soon as 2.2 happened.

Speaking of over-analyzing Yoship's words, I'm pretty sure I felt like I had a head start on the tank mount compared to a lot of people (being both a main tank and almost exclusively a tank) over people who might want to roll as tanks post 2.2 in that I've cleared all the content up to that point and was able to quickly find groups to run Coil with to acquire my mount. And it required very little active effort on my part because I was asked to tag along on a ton of guild runs. If I hadn't said no so much I would have had it even earlier.
