Big mistake that SE did with new relic weapons

Well… To be honest, i don’t really pay much attention to it, since i was going for the Animus weapon anyway. But, i personally think that giving the Atma weapon an iLevel of 95 would make more sense then giving it iLevel 100 (since the stats of the Atma are “lower” then the Allagan and Wave weapons). Then, once you’ve upgraded the Atma weapon to Animus, it could’ve been been increased to iLevel 100.

Yes, but the stats on the ilevel 95 allagan weapon are at the stat cap and can't be upgraded, while the stats on the ilevel 100 atma weapons are not at statcap and can be upgraded. Once you have your Animus weapon you have an ilevel 100 weapon with stats at stat cap again.

Atma weapon is just a inbetween step between Zenith and Animus. Like the unfinished relict weapon during the first relict quest.

Would Atma keep ilevel 90 it would get the new stats not until all books are finished and the weapon get upgraded to Animus. But because the Atma is already ilevel 100 it can get the new stats the moment the first book is finished.
