Tbh, I'd prefer it if they did make new players grind through all the things we have to now. Why play a game if you're going to skip 90% of said game?

You can't speedrun Myth AND you get less of it.
The cap is gone, sure.
Because Myth is used for any and everything, people are trying to amass it.
They don't want to carry people when they're undergeared and the parties they get into are going to be slowed.
You're not skipping from AF to whatever overnight.
You may get i90 quicker, but you still have to grind through all the actual content.
Titan is still going to kill people.
You can get to higher ilvls more quickly, but you're not skipping anything content-wise.
Half the new content is locked behind other content.
You can gear up and experience it more quickly without the grinding, but how is that skipping 90% of said game?
It feels like less progression struggle to clear the old stuff, sure, but at that point its not even relevant, so why bother forcing people to climb up the hill even more than they already have to?

Get a good ls/fc to carry me. Coil has 15 percent buff, myth is free pretty much, soldiery gear easy to get. Get caught up in no time.

Getting carried through content could happen regardless, with or without the Myth cap.
Even if Myth was still capped, you could still be carried.
People were carried with the cap.
My point is that the removal of the cap isn't the sole cause of being able to skip content.

Easier now with the 15 percent echo buff and gear becoming obsolete so fast. Spam a few coils, pow full ilvl 90. Over geared for Extremes and Levi.

Heck you probably can get carried in Coil df groups now seeing how easy it is.

Entirely irrelevant to the people that have moved on.
People getting i90 hasn't helped most of them get past Titan.
If they get carried, they get carried.
Making it easier to catch up doesn't do anything but let them spend less time getting from point A to B and is probably better.
The only problem its going to cause is when they catch up to everyone doing the actual current endgame, which they'll probably stay away from until it gets whatever nerf, and by then, its old content again.

When you nerf everything then it pretty makes it so players don't have to grind nearly as much as players that have been playing longer hence "skipping". So new players don't really have as much to grind through like it was suggested.

With how old coil is now, they could technically skip right to t5, get lucky, beat it, be right up there in t6+ now. So yeah, they can skip right over it.

Yeah lol Everytime an idea get's suggested that involves making people work together / pay attention / put time/effort into something, or any idea that involves the basic mmo functions, such as listed above, there's always a mob :P

Try doing T5 in all mythology or soldiery as almost any job. You will miss like crazy, or not do enough damage. Myth gear is not a true substitute for BC gear in some cases, and vice versa. Not to mention there's the whole skill factor which only comes with time. There's no such thing as a carry through T5, everyone needs to work together properly. Even with the Echo Buff, it's still very unforgiving should you make a mistake.

Full i90 just from CM. That would take forever.
You might as well still have the cap.
Dude, what are the chances of that actually happening, though?
Really, most people that haven't beaten T5 are not going to jump in DF and get carried.
If they're getting carried, they are probably paying someone or getting carried by an FC.
Having i90 and an Echo bonus (though once the percentage ramps up, different story) isn't going to magically get you through things.
If your healer sucks, the tank is still going to die.
If you're going to run conflags into teammates, you're still not going to progress.
There are still mechanics that are going to kill you when you don't handle them properly.
Paying 7 other people that know what they're doing while you lie down dead is going to be easier than trying to do the turn, just because you have the gear, with anything less than people that know the content when you're running mechanics into them like a headless chicken.
Those people are going to be kicked because you're wasting their time.
Gear is not going to carry you through T5.
If someone is going to carry you, you would have been carried anyway.

Why are people still complaining about Titan?
People in i90?
EX aside, even HM.
Mechanics.
If that person died, the rest of the team can carry on without them so much easier when they're not running around sabotaging things.
Regardless of whether they have full i90 or whatever the minimum requirement is, if they were going to get carried, they'd get carried anyway.
