I believe the reason is hightlighted as above, I have seen some players quit immediately even after the nerf.
OP just take it easy, I think he just wanted a kick for instant re-q.
I had a pretty solid one just today, trying out the Turn 2 DF on SCH. He didn't really try to figure out whether or not people knew what they were doing.
We wiped but it wasn't a big deal until he started getting toxic. I confronted him about it and he just got worse so we voted to dismiss him. Pulled the first node before getting kicked though.
I do another queue and he's there again telling the party I'm cancer. Supposedly I spent the entire time telling everyone they were garbage. His friends who were queued with him agreed. He tried to act like he was nice but he got dismissed again after the next wipe.
The best part is I sent in a GM call and got a response back within 5 minutes. It's a shame that one person can ruin an entire queue for several people. Without the people that were in both of my queues, there were 5 people including myself. The tanks were probably okay but I felt really bad for the 3 DPS who got stuck with this guy ruining their queues.

Was leveling my bard awhile back. Got into AV with an ilvl 90 PLD and DRG. The healer was a lvl 47 WHM. Tank grabs a bunch of mobs and he dies. Does it again and we get it. After the pull he then says why am I not using mage's ballad and not watching the healer's mp. I told him he should pull less stuff because the healer won't be able to keep him up every time. He arrogantly tells me to "use ballad."
So, I decide not to say anything and use ballad. The tank STILL dies because the healer can't keep him up. I saw that the healer had 1000-1500 mp left. Mobs have about half their health or more left and everyone but me dies.
After they come back, the tank says "Bard afk?' and then he and his 2 idiot friends kick me. I was thinking of leaving anyway and didn't want to deal with an arrogant tank that thought he was hot stuff because he was full ilvl 90. Hopefully, I don't run into such an arrogant scrub again.
Please SE, make the penalty for leaving a duty before 15 minutes are over a stackable one and increase the penalty the more often people leave. It could be a penalty reset on a weekly base like other mechanics in the Game. Some of the tanks in this Game think the World belongs to them and they take the penalty with a smile because they just do something else and know, they will be back in the saddle in no time.
If they knew the penalty is an hour or even more, they would maybe reconsider their behaviour. Doing dungeons through DF for ATMA in the last weeks was more than painful (as DD) so far and 99,99% of the time it was about the tank. They fish for parties in progress, abort and even when they make it into the dungeon, they only stay if EVERYTHING fits to their needs.
A tank complained in a low level dungeon that people actually were on the level of that dungeon and surprise surprise, there was even a guy doing it for the very first time with his first char ever. Tank couldn't be arsed to stay of course. They get fat rewards and expect to have 3 other players which are over quipped like themselves? On a low level roulette? Where you help others and get a bonus for doing so? LMAO. Nice way of abusing it. I for once have started to report such tanks. Not sure if it does anything but I will take care that each single tank I meet from now on will be reported if he acts like an ass or quits for no or silly reasons. The built in penalty isn't enough by far for these ego players.
What annoys me more are the tanks that don't just eat the timer, but disconnect/close the game/whatever...
Yeah, you must wait 5 mins to even be able to kick him, of course, leaving in that state will give you a penalty.... hahaha..... well played....
They just wait like 10 mins offline till they get kicked, log back in and enjoy a new instant queue....
Why do you not get a penalty after being kicked in the first place?
This is what still irks me to no end as well.
Leaving a dungeon gives a penalty (which, if I really have to, I will gladly take with a thousand apologies to the party I leave behind) but when I get kicked I can requeue with no consequence.
I cringe whenever a partymember asks "please kick me, I don't want to be bothered by the penalty".
Mainly because the best course of action is to actually do so as not doing it will only work to disadvantage the rest of the party even more.
All in all though, I think I am pretty lucky when it comes to DF.
I hardly have any incidents, or maybe it is because I tend to just let things go instead of letting them ruin the rest of my evening.

I run into jerks all the time. One time in Pharos This one tank kept mocking me for rolling on the gear drops. I told him I needed it for GC seal exchanges(logical reason as he could see most of my gear was allagen or weathered, i was far better geared than him too).
He went on to make racist remarks towards me, calling me a greedy n* and such. (i'm not African American, but it still pissed me off because it was just rude) I mean I could understand if he was an elitist but he KEPT dying. However, by the time he went too far we were at the last boss, so I decided to put up with it. Barely managed to beat the boss. Blacklisted him immediately afterwords.
Over all though Elitism and racism plagues this game, I don't see that often in any other online based game I've played.
I can explain why people think this way. I myself do, but I keep quiet about it in instances.
When you hit need on an item for use, be it stats or glamour, you're actually going to use it on your current job. Other people can't need it over you(outside of same role/class) for that very reason. But when you take an item, that everyone earned, for something anyone could use it for, ie seals, it looks greedy. If I want something for use or perhaps Glamour, I'll need on it. Never for seals, i'll greed on it, even if I can need, that way everyone else who wants it for the same reason has a fair shot at it.
A high lvl monk joined my grp but didn't like the speed of the tank which was being pulled. So sat in a corner, "Plz kick me" I know its possible to report these players but still what do you do until then. lol
