I did this turn for the sexy vanity gloves for full allagan looks (that i replaced with some awesome looking random ass lvl30 mrd/gla/drg gloves a week later).
But the bear mount keeps me going in there when i have some time. t4 or levi. Awesome loot doesnt need to drop when its the best turn to farm the tank mount. Havent had many problems there yet and it only got easier with the echo.

I've had PLD leveled to 50 for awhile now, and after just getting WAR to 50 yesterday, I'm not tanking for anyone outside of my linkshell/friends list any more. I enjoy it greatly, but all the horrible behavior you have to endure from random strangers isn't worth it to me.

Welp, it's already been said, Tanks have to know more and it's simply a better and more fun experience with folks you already know. Having this type of environment makes you perform better.In between time leveling other classes.

Really? the most weight?
I played a lot of mmo's and i have to say that in this game the tanks are the most arrogant ever.
Why is it that some of you (mainly DF tanks) think your so much better?

People have to wait so long for a tank that their patience is running out before the run even starts, and the tank doesn't feel the need to put up with anyone shouting at him/her because he's in high demand. Under those circumstances the slightest mistake can lead to everyone abandoning the dungeon. It's a vicious circle.

I think you guys are missing my point a little.

I'm not asking HOW to Tank, I'm asking why there isn't MORE of us. I know how to Tank just fine, I'm just angry by the lack of Tanks in the world. I'm glad I play one but my oh my we're an endangered species.

1- old tanks dont need to do that dungeons

2- new tanks get harrassed and stop tanking/reroll or are intimidated to even just try ,or tank only for FC

3- the rewards arent worth it in the 1 place.

It isn't a lack of tanks, it's the ability to change jobs.. so people started as tanks, leveled to 50, geared up, and then started playing other jobs, and now are trying to gear those up.

Also, because DF has become such an issue, most tanks will ask in their FC first, "Hey I'm about to run something, who wants to join" and then FC people jump and go with that tank, so the tank didn't need to use DF.. when it hits a time for a tank to use DF, they run the risk of people being trolls in the dungeon lol, AND a leveling alt monk isn't going to switch to it's paladin to get into the dungeon and then not be able to roll on the monk gear which he/she wants, so he/she has to go in AS the monk.
