Yes it is optional.

Does that mean the quest is still "good" because we can just simply skip it? If there something wrong with anything whether we skip it or not, as people who want to make this game better, we should speak up about it.

I don't complain much, but the FATE thing with Atma is just not cool man especially when drop rates are really low! lol

Like someone else said earlier. Some people like it (Like me) and why should they remove the one really fun grindy thing there is in the game when it's optional. Let those who like grinding do it and you do something else you like doing.

It's not hard, nothing is hard about it. It's just time consuming. and by time consuming I mean people with bad luck from the RNG gods. Why can't we have a "Grindy" Step by Step to reach your goal Feature? You still will have your grindiness, just without a blindfold on and hoping you get there. If RNG was a bit more forgiving I be alright with it, but as of right now it's not.

Best of both worlds, instead of RNG have accomplishing goals to work towards ( Some kind of grind w/o a blindfold on, meaning you will know when you will be finished).

I am 99% sure they will raise the drop rate and I can't wait for that to happen so I can actually be sane when doing it :P. However, I wish quests like these could be done with by knowing when you will be done, instead of " I hope I'll be done in 4 hours like player A is but sadly it's taking me 40 hours to be half way done .

I refer to my preivous statment: Just don't get this agrument they add one feature to the game that is grind/timesink and it's optional to do btw and its the end of the world scenario for a certain group of people. They already catering 99% of this game to players like youself and threw in a 1% or single feature to a game that cater's maybe to a different crowd of gamer and you want to complain about it I called that stance a hyperbole argument .

Your middle ground will be the future patches where they make the old content easier to obtain... as for the time being, you have to go through what everyone has to go through.

As mentioned, some people actually enjoy this type of things.
