.... That's not answer my question again. I'm asking a simple question. Can't we have something in between? SO that BOTH sides can be happy? If I wanted to act like you I could say what you just said back at you. I am trying to find a solution, your giving me a rude remark.

Edit: So we All can get through these certain quests reasonably. What if I want the Zodiac weapon because it looks cool but I can't because the 1st phase of the quest is unreasonably annoying due to RNG. I am not hating on RNG and do feel there is a place for it, but if it's not reasonable, most people ( which that is the case) won't do it due to that. and the peopel that due are the ones on the forums asking for a "compromising change". I am don't want to make it easy I want to work for my Zodiac, but certain things like "not knowing when you are going to get X item and it has a really low drop rate" is beyond stupid.

That's why I like the 2nd phase of it, because know what to do, and I'll know if I complete all these task I'll be rewarded. Most people judging by the forums want Progression--->Reward. 1st phase of the Atma Quest has no sense of progression, just a hope you win the lottery.

Sure they could increase the drop rate a tad I guess. Also you could threw back at me what I said if the game was tailor to grind/timesink which is currently is not at all so that point is not really valid so it should be 99.5% what you want in game .5% what other gamers that play might like I stand corrected.

Sorry if that previous post seems rude some people can be thinskin when it comes to comments over text responds, but can you honestly not see there are different types of gamers out there, I will say it again majority of this game is tailor to your gaming style not the other way around maybe not completely your style of course, but ONE feature just ONE that is not to your liking and we have to find middle ground really. I don't mine the timesink of the first task for atmas and I don't mind the fast pace/vertical progression of this game either really its a difference in your gaming style and mine when it boils down to it and other's.

Well really all I am asking for atm is a better drop rate. because as of rate now you have to be really lucky to get past this first part. if the RNG was 10%, I would be okay with that. Right now, it seems like it's 1% or less.

this has gone both ways, till now people complained about just about everything that is casual about the game.

I see zero issues with the current system. Its nice to see something not everyone has. I find the real problem right now is that its not the strongest weapon implemented right now. Wait until it is the strongest for content and watch the huge flock of cry babies show up.

took me 3 hours to drop 6 atma when i first started,
then i headed to the middle noscea 1 grinded there for 9 hours no drop, next day took me 3 hours no drop so i thought meh ill skip n come back lol
next 3 atma dropped roughly in 10 fates each 1 so went back to middle noscea n dropped it on 2nd fate lol

out of all 12 atmas middle noscea was a thorn in my side n only atma that took really long for me to drop ._.

It worked for the Bull and the Ram. And then i tried it for the Twins and it worked I then went after Lion and got that very quickly then noticed that following this theory doesn't really work like i thought it did and that it really is just luck. Tried 4 hours killing fates in South Thanalan trying to get Scorpion. No luck this Quest has made me hate Fates more than I did to start with last year in September.

BAHAHA now i just watch TV as i kill Fates. Taking a break now I'm gonna wait an hour before going after Fish lol

Unfortunately, this rng mechanic is the only way that people could do a completely skill-less and mindless task (it's leveling grind content, FFS)... and still claim that they somehow accomplished something.

Without the RNG, it would be an obviously insultingly easy task - with rng that players can't control... even completely skill-less an terrible players can pretend they "deserve" something more than someone else that doesn't have it.

This is not a test of skill... it is really an experiment on self delusion.
