Guessin NM gear will have some unique effects crafted gear wont have.
Where the horsebirds at?!
It just means NM gear will be less stronger than a fully grinded materia gear.
It's the same concept with NQ and HQ gear, u can spot an NQ gear or you can strive for HQ gear, however with materia the option is open for everyone, not only for crafter with high ranks or rich players.
its all about 'option', since community here bitch about everything and anything, so they need an aggro off and on icon to please both sides.

I don't consider my initial post as trolling or bitching, as i was trying to clear up what i assumed was a misunderstanding. I now realize the situation is similar to flipping a coin where the person complains whether its heads or tails. I apologies if you took my post to be provoking, i'll remove it. Next time you don't have to go to the trouble of logging into a different account to post, i'm pretty sure everyone who reads these forums already know which user names belong to the same person, having said that i also should of known better then to reply to you so i'll end my conversation with you here.
Thank you very much for the translation! Such good information.
My two cents is, though they said only one job per class WHM and BLM is actually both for CON and bard is THM with all those absorb spells and the fact you can transfer buffs to other players.
Based on this new information it seems that it might not be limited to one job per class, they say that in the future they not only plan to add more jobs but also classes and also the part about combining classes to attain a job, which i find interesting
Don't forget, the class abilities are going to be redistributed I'm pretty sure. So what we see as con and thm now, may not be the case after the update.
No, my original translation is not word-to-word, and you clarified one thing:Thanks a lot for the translations Kristina, but please allow me to re-translate the quoted information above, as it seems giftforce has misunderstood the system.
I apologize if my translation is not 100% correct, but it does literally say that Materia enhanced crafted gear will show better results then Materia enhanced NM dropped gear. Kristina also included this information " [materia buffed gear] > [NM dropped gear]" just not a word to word translation. So thank you again Kristina for the translations and the new information.
The weapons and armors coming from crafting, with FULLY FUSED MATERIA, will perform better than those looted from NM.
But it doesn't say what if equipment looted from NM are fully fused (as rep commented before, some equipment cannot be fused).
BTW, allow me to point out one more thing: it is known to be hard to get a fully fused equipment because the ability to fuse 2nd materia is described as "very risky" by reps.
So, as a result, the crafted equipment, fully fused with materia, will somewhat as rare as similar one looted from NM.
It sounds reasonable from the view of balancer, to keep both fighters and crafters busy.![]()

I heard they wanted to follow a tactics route which I would really enjoy. Though I guess most people have most classes ranked fairly high now, with all the spare time they had. I would really like to have different jobs per class as I really want to be both DD and tank with my GLD.
