Yep, I agree the reward isn't worth the amount of effort you have to put in it... To an extent. If you look at it in the long run, then it might be worth it. They will be adding in new upgrades to the weapon with later patches and soon we'll even be able to customise the stats on it iirc. I think by the very end it will be the best weapon.

So, in some ways its good to do it now, so as soon as those upgrades are made available, you're much closer to the goal.

That being said, I agree with Sove92. These later patches will also most likely include a buff to the atmas drop rates. Right now, I just don't feel it is worth the effort (despite the long term potential), especially when I can just get Levi X or Gerolt weapon for the same ilvl and have a much funner time doing it.

But Gerolt weapon... requires saving Soldiery for three weeks AND getting an item that that so far has only been confirmed as a Second Coil drop...

Don't know about this because with each patch they will dumb down the requirements and make it easier and easier to do bar the last step. Courtesy of the casual/instant gratification > all policy adopted by mmos post wow.

Basically spend 100 hours now to get to this point or use a weathered weapon now which is just as good and wait a patch and spend 20.
