I think he's just saying it's stupid to give a company who makes more money in a day than you will make in your entire life money for things (edit). If you really want to throw your money away on SE, go here: http://collective.square-enix.com/ and toss as much money at them as you want.

But yeah I know how much is against corporate greed, wanting to be the voice to change the world, wishing things were like they were, saving up for their cheeseburgers, etc. The thing is its not 2003 anymore. Everyone is trying to upsell every chance they can. If you dont support it, then dont buy. Some people don't mind paying, some don't. And thats OK....But calling people who are don't mind paying brainwashed is just as messed up as calling someone who can't afford to cheap...

To Be Blunt: If you don't like whats going on, then shut up, quit crying, and dont pay. They're not spamming you to buy a retainer.
