Some people just like treating MMOs like single player games, others don't like putting a "huge" amount of effort according to them and they'll keep throwing IRL excuses for it or saying how it's just a videogame and they are entitled to one shot everything instead of naturally learning the fight and sticking with a group until they beat something or finding another group that's willing to learn the game's mechanics and gear properly, learn a fight and try for a win until the end, a really tiny amount of the player base really and honestly find every piece of content too hard for their videogame abilities. Most of them will most likely leave the game at some point the moment it simply becomes too hard for them, though the amount of people leaving because the game because is too easy will probably be higher than the people leaving because it's too hard. I seriously can't believe there are people this unwilling to stick to a fight or find a good group of friends and people to do content with and keep trying until they win, and I say this as someone who considers himself bad at videogames and took two weeks just to get to Titan EXs final phase and just beat Twintania three weeks ago for the first time, though I've met a couple of people who just wouldn't listen to even the most basic of advices and kept saying how the game was too hard so you never know.

Fun for some people seems to be clearing content while taking the path of least resistance, buffs included, they're similar to the type of people who'll defend cheats in single player games or options to skip combat, and I also say that as someone who's used trainers, cheatcodes, savestates and even lowered the difficulty in single player games because I just wanted to beat a game. They'll also bash you for dictating what's fun for them and how that's just like your opinion man and they'll take everything as a personal insult, you really can't win against them.

Maybe I feel this way cause I haven't played another mmorpg since Wow Vanilla. And I think that is one of the best mmorpgs out there. I was at level 60 for a year and got like 2 or 3 epics during that year, yet I kept playing cause I loved doing raids (even though my guild could barely do mc and we never managed to down the first boss in the 2nd big dungeon bwl or summin like that) and the challenge and preperations for every raid was so much fun.
I guess I'm still used to old school wow
