Yoshi said quit a few things that haven't happened. I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get new jobs/races until an expansion. You can still cancel btw and then just check news on the game once a month to see when they're adding the class you want to play.

Maybe he didn't want to waste time on a question he's answered repeatedly in the past. It's not his fault you can't read or do your own research.

Please enlighten us. Since some of us that do indeed scour the internet for musketeer info have never seen him say anything about it since after they took over and started working on ARR.

ALSO: Musketeer isnt a "new" class/job. Guns are in the game. The guild is in the game. Animations are in the game. So hmm yeah "new" jobs/classes not till expansion 4 year old job/class no excuse.

Except, there is no site for FFXIV stating musketeer is a playable class in the game. We have the guild in the game, which can be seen as laying the groundwork, but it could just be a pointless npc guild. I seriously doubt it, but it's possible.

however you know that the cities were rebuilt right? So if you arent even close to adding musketeer why even put it in the game for launch? If they laid the groundwork building the game and just put it on the back burner they should say something.

Anyway, they had the guild in the first game. Why wouldn't they bring it back for the second?

That still doesn't say playable classes. Just says guilds for classes in the game, regardless of if we can play them or not. I'd be willing to bet Merlwyb is a musketeer. Hence, the guild.

because it's easier to use the already existing assets to rebuild a city than start from nothing.

irrelevant. the guild building is already in the game, and there is a cutscene in 1.0 where you *almost* join the guild before they go NOPE and kick you out.
