To be fair, *this* MMO (ARR) has been out about 7 months, not 4 years. Any work they may or may not have done for the 1.0 game engine has to be recoded into their new 2.0 game engine. Sure I played it from the 1.0 betas but it's *not* the same game.
You know... like different things have designations (like for example trying to say the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) Constitution Class (Kirk) is the same as the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701-D) Galaxy class (Picard).. The only thing they share in common is a general shape and the name Enterprise. But all the inner workings are totally different) This is why A Realm Reborn (ARR designation) can't really be compared with the 1.0 game engine. It's like cutting up and apple and an orange, mixing up the pieces and then trying to make the apple fit into the oranges skin.
What they had planned for 1.0 is more than likely not the same thing we will receive in 2.0.
I see your points, and they are almost valid. However, if they had no plans, or very long term plans, for musketeer, then they should have removed the guild signage from Limsa's Coral Tower. When they left it there, we all assumed that Musketeer was on track to be released. To be fair, *this* MMO (ARR) has been out about 7 months, not 4 years. Everyone thought paid retainers and fantasia would be the end of it.
You were warned.
Cash shop in, TrystWildkey out.
And who is saying it isn't? You know, they did not release the finalized version of the 2.2 patch notes, right? I'm not saying we are getting it with 2.2, but, things happen and they don't have to share information they are not ready to shareI see your points, and they are almost valid. Sure I would like them to come out and say we are releasing this and this class by this and that date, but unfortunately it just isn't the way the world usually works hehehe All we can do is wonder and speculate.
All good things come in their own (long @$$) time.. as it is![]()
Agreed. I too, like to do quests/missions and still find some surprises out there. I'm hoping a class/job whatever will still show itself this coming patch. Yoshi&Team didn't even give us all the patch notes until the patch goes live. .dat farmers can't do their magic till then either.
Even these patch notes have some quest lines hidden/????. Whats the point of doing all of that?
There is indeed surprises in this 2.2 patch. Whether story, class, job, item, npc related.
This live letter was very uninformative this time round. Yes they showed some nice mounts and outfit videos. But its almost like the purposely didn't talk about any game mechanics fights or anything content related...im kinda giddy. As its more exiting to release hidden things like class races through unknown patches than a expected Expansion.
prob getting my hopes up to high.
