Mirage Prism was 1,000x better. It's already bad enough I'm forced to display earrings on my rugged male Hyur... now I get to 'glamour' myself? If you let me glamour my jewelry into nothing-ness, that could work... but still, Glamour?!


P.S. I'm not complaining, I just dislike the name. My emphasis lies more in the female-connotation of being "glamorous" in a Western Society... which' why I bring up the point I can't hide my earrings or necklace. Some may disagree, but I already feel forced into too much femininity in the game already.

First off:

In many witchcraft practices, a "Glamour" is a spell used to cast an illusion on yourself or another item that makes it/you look different. (i.e. - Glamour your hair color to look brown instead of blonde, eye color to be blue instead of green, etc.) So "Glamour" makes perfect sense since we're basically casting a spell onto our gear to change their appearances to that of something else.

I seriously do not understand how people still do not understand it considering this complaint has been around since they first mentioned the system. Glamour is the perfect name for this system because not only does it reference making something more attractive but has a secondary definition of being a magical enchantment.

"Mirage Prism" sounds cooler than "Glamour". Regardless of how "Glamour" is the perfect word to describe what it does, it's still an ordinary word (and that secondary meaning is an archaic one that many people are not familiar with). I'm female and I'd still prefer "Mirage Prism" because it sounds interesting and magical, whereas "Glamour" does not.

And it sounds like I'm trying to transform into Sailor Moon....

Um... That's basically what I like about it. Glamours for ordinary humans, Mirage Prisms for magical girls! xD

For the multi-slot item issue, I also hope there is a "fix" for that in the future. While I am in general very happy to be rid of the tin cans and don't mind head gear not showing when I am wearing a cowl, there may be people who prefer the cowl look even when wearing a robe and hat and having a use for the Odin armor would be great. I think it would require glamouring a full outfit though, rather than individual items.

Just because you dislike the name and how the system is set up doesn't mean everyone else does too. To ask them to change a fanservice feature to your likings is absurd.
