Garuda is much more of a wh**e though, and can be very tricky in both D and PF if people don't do the triple pull method.

T2 may or may not be easy depending on the group and the method used. You take T1 ads, make 3 of the same with one new attack each time, then big boss. Big boss uses the skills of all the mini ones you didn't kill, and the make-or-break move here is the allagan rot. If your group can pass it without problem, the fight itself is easy. If not, then you won't win.
Enrage method allows to burn the final boss without caring about the rot though.

and T2 is not that easy either, major of ppl only be able to get pass t2 after the enrage tactic, before that it is pain to pug pt to get it clear
Yes it felt like the correct level of challenging and fun (ultima and garuda), but no one is willing to wait on people to learn. In an ultima party I had both tanks, and a healer drop after the first wipe! Even when the description said it was a learning party.
I admittedly never tried T2 "the normal way", but T1 at least was challenging enough and easy to pug. I'm enjoying the challenge but bummed at the lack of learning opportunities. There is only so much I can learn from just watching a video after all.

I resorted to PF because I waited for a party on DF for nearly 45 minutes and nothing popped up. The Garuda learning party went better but disbanded after the third wipe. Even then we actually learned from it unlike the ultima mess lol.

T2 I did only using enrage, maybe someday I will try it with rot, maybe.

I would consider myself a casual. Only just got WHM to 50 (only job at 50) after several months play (mostly due to being indecisive between WHM/SCH as first 50). Finished Titan HM through PF thanks to some lovely folks on my server - only one wipe, although we did have 3 heal it...not sure if the other healer and myself were just spending too much time moving since we were new to the fight post heart phase or gear issues. I am very proud that I can make it through the entire pre-heart phase without getting hit by an avoidable stuff :-) Only seen post-heart...three times, including my two times in PF yesterday, so I give myself more of a break there.

I personally think the difficulty is just right; things take time to learn but are easy after you master them. I do think CT is a bit too easy! It feels like the mobs before the bosses are more dangerous than the actual bosses. I also think some of the 4 man dungeons don't offer enough reward for their difficulty level.

Once you feel like you know the content inside out, thats when it becomes casual.
Being in a competent FC, LS, or a static pug of some sort; that's when casual kicks in at full power.
Because you are so used to running content with the same ppl it feels all too "casual".
Any content is do able once u have a group of regulars.
    So technically
The % of availability to succeed =
How casual this game will become to you.
New content means nothing when u plan on running it with the group of ppl u run things with everytime.
1st successful run will only be the one that matters. All the rest will be doomed to become a chore for many.

I'd like to be able to do more of this endgame stuff with my small group of people I know but it seems most of the content is 8-people-or-more.

Semi-casual here. I typically log on 2-4 hours each night, sometimes longer on weekends. Been playing since ARR launch, have four crafting jobs to 50, two gathering jobs to 50, and WHM and PLD to 50. Garuda HM was a rough fight for me on WHM, and Titan HM is still scary even as PLD. Haven't even attempted EX primals or Binding Coil, yet.

So, yeah, I feel that the game has plenty of stuff left to do, and plenty of challenge left to offer.

I don't know where i fall really. I would consider myself frustrated if anything. Currently stuck at Twin and Titan EX. What i find true is that my skill level doesn't really matter in Titan EX. Every run someone will inevitably make one mistake and it's all over. In that sense I guess due to lack of progression I'm a casual.

If I didn't lead a FC with my bf, i'm pretty sure I would quit trying at this point, because these two fights have done nothing but stress me out.
