Let it only be done before entering an instance, and once after a boss fight, and if it fails once again. I don't limits, man.

Hopefully the update to keep this from being used in battle doesn't wait until 2.2. This should never have gotten past QA due to the obvious, abusive nature.Greetings,
The development team is looking into placing limitations on the use of the ready check feature, as this should not be used during battle. In addition, for patch 2.2 they are also discussing making it so the person who initiated the ready check will have their name displayed.
Well, the only part that specifically says "Patch 2.2" is concerning placing the ready check initiators name up. I'm sure the "in combat" use will be implemented before.
Also, I'd disagree with adding initiator names to the vote kick or vote abandon features, as even a single use of it may bring negative retaliation against the initiator.
Instead I'd propose a timed lockout for a person after using the feature. You get 1 chance per (ie) 10 minutes to commence a vote. If it's dismissed, and a run/player is clearly in deservence of another vote, someone else will initiate it. I mean, it takes more than 1 to pass it anyways right?
Ohhhh man oh man, this is gonna make CTs sooo much fun. I can see the arguments now xDGreetings,

On a serious note though, its definitely a much needed change. If you can root out the troll, they can easily be kicked. I feel something similar should happen with Vote Abandon...but that could get abusive.

What arguments? Person X won't be able to initiate during battle. If they spam pre/post battle, their name will show up. Party vote kicks them. Troll removed from party. Party continues with content without having to deal with it anymore.
Thank you for the update, I've had a couple of CT runs where the entire group has died on the first two encounters because we can't see beyond the RC notice. It really doesn't bother me what happens to it, but knowing that it's going to be unusable during combat is a huge relief.Greetings,

As for naming the culprit, it needs to happen on any system abuse, vote kick, vote abandon, ready check etc. as really anything that can affect other players should have the safety net of being able to tell who's doing it without having to turn on each other until the troll comes clean or flees.

Can you also add the name of the person initiating a vote kick or vote abandon? I'm seeing these abused a lot in things like Crystal tower.Greetings,

Also regarding the Ready Check feature: can you make the default 'ready' instead of not? I went to initiate a ready check at the same moment one popped up, so my click managed to make me a 'no' when I was a 'yes'. I never even saw the full window, I clicked just as it was flashing into existence. Or a way to change from not ready to ready? that would be very useful instead of a mis click
Would it be possible to also adding a feature to the Ready Check for when a player hits "No"? Because, at the moment, when people are hitting "no" in Crystal Tower, other players are assuming that they are, in fact, ready and just "trolling". The feature could be that, when you hit no, you have to select a reason for not being ready. Such as...Greetings,

"Low MP!"
"Low HP!"
"Busy in real life!"
"Party Member disconnecting/AFK!"
And make "Away from Keyboard" the default reason for if someone didn't hit either yes or no.
