    EQ 2 didn't have tons at release, but much more leveling content. More end game came later, but I was actually referring to EQ 1. Crafting in EQ 2 blows this game away. Not even close, player housing affordable, more diversity in gear, diversity in classes... factions...spell levels...

    In EQ1 we had Nag's Lair with multiple bosses, we had Lady Vox with bosses, plus a huge amount of dungeons. Post 46 we had planes with tons of content (and tears).

    I guess since every single boss and mini boss wasn't instanced- the numbers don't look impressive... but they also didn't have 3 versions of the same recycled fight. That is something that would have been considered ridiculous at the time... and I still feel.

    Many of the instances you referred to are story dungeons, so I consider them leveling instances. That was also in 1999 - not 2013/2014...and a massive world...with crafting that was better than crafting here... tons of classes and races... and more complex systems. Mind you it launched in 99 and Kunark came out April 2000 - with Velious 9 months later. Insane growth.
