Like what they did with the coatee set already

Yeah, this gender-specific armor is giving me horrible flashbacks to TERA. Seriously, this kind of thing is more of a f2p shovelware MMO practice than a reputable subscription MMO thing. Let's stop that, Squee. D:

I hope we get both. They have made it possible to get older event items in the past. In the illustration she is wearing the necklace so maybe… just maybe.

I would go back and change to Elezen (Note my Sig from 1.0). But I think the head-body proportion is a little off. I’m not sure if Square Enix will fix that. One can only hope!

You can now get Paramour's Pendant, Platinum Paramour's Pendant, and Band of Eternal Passion for 37 gil per item from the House Valentione Maid. Guess they made it easy enough for those that missed it!

There is nothing even remotely close to TERA in this game. Not even the Coliseum stuff.

Gender-specific armor, as in separate in-game items for males vs females that do not change if you change your character's gender (e.g. with a fantasia). It's bollocks.

If I'm wrong feel free to correct me:

According to Naunet's reply to you, I believe (s)he meant that the Valentione's stuff is gender specific, much like the Lightning event armors. As such; if you change your character's gender you can't wear it anymore (some people have had this issue with the Lightning stuff, like they did it as a male and got Snow's stuff, but switched to female via Fantasia and are unable to obtain Lightning's equipment. At the same time they can't wear Snow's because they are no longer a male character).

I've never played TERA, but from that I assume much of the armor was gender specific. Not exactly the aesthetics of them.

I did the quests this morning and yes, two pieces of the gear are gender specific (like Lightning/Snow). The other three are not specific.

Was it just me who found the quests totally lame as all are about unrequited love. Not one has a happy ending or any kind of relationship being formed. Kinda misses the whole point of a celebration of love.

Yeah, I thought that was a bit of downer too,
especially the second one with the girl whose lover supposedly went to Carteneau and was never seen again, only to be revealed as a loverat who was sweet-talking naive girls and selling the gifts they gave him, and the good-natured guy who had a crush on her for years was rebuffed by her.

The last one involving Yellow Moon I already correctly guessed the result though - previous quests involving her I knew what to expect, and sure enough, her sadistic nature, as well as her masochistic fanclub, became all too apparent
    .

No offense any of the writing staff, but this event only confirmed the old saying that great romances written by women often end in true love and happiness, while those written by men usually end up in heartbreak and disaster.
