I wonder how many people here have actually completed T5 and see how superior SCH is for almost every fight in coil.

T1: Tank healing, double SCH preferred

T2: Tank healing, light ambient damage, SCH+WHM preferred, but double of either healer is doable

T4: Heavy tank healing, double SCH preferred

T5: More heavy tank healing, some raid healing required for Aetheric Profusion but nothing whispering dawn + succor can't handle. 6 lustrates per minute trivializes Death Sentence. Double SCH preferred.

SCH just has more tools in addition to their superior tank healing. Apples and oranges, yeah, but WHM is more like a rotten apple and SCH is a fresh ripe orange.

Coil can be done with any healer combination that it does not matter, yes, 2 SCH maybe superior but I doubt the difference is night and day if compared to other combinations .

And yet I haven't seen a SCH solo heal Titan Extreme yet. Seen plenty of WHMs doing it though. Just saying...

To be fair, all Primals (except for Ifrit XM, IMHO) can be solo healed by both classes, if you're skilled enough. An adequately geared and skilled SCH can solo heal titan XM.

Ifrit XM....nvr tried, because nobody in my FC wanna roast in hell with me =\, I would love to see a video of any solo heal ifrit XM tho!! Just to show it's possible.

have u try urself using SCH in coil? i did
maybe i didnt practice enough with SCH but i know basic to use SCH
practice for 1 week using SCH for T4 no pass, with damage going everywhere
change to WHM, 2 WHM run, 1 shot.
i prefer WHM no matter what, it suits me more i think

Where would be the challenge in that?
Wanting to clear content in the easiest of all ways sounds to me like a bad excuse for making up with someone else's "badness" :P

I think you underestimate gamers in general. If the easy way is available, most people will take it. This includes for all walks of life.

If you ever doubt the issues with mp management, watch a group do Enrage on T2 and see the 2 WHM are suffering by the end, while the SCH is sitting well over 2-3k for mana. I think shroud should be adjusted according to the total pool(not just because of T2-enrage; that is an example of the discrepancy). It doesn't make sense for SCH to have a massively OP mana regen skill +energy drain when they get free fairy casts and not have something even in the ballpark for WHM. I don't think both groups should play the same, but the emphasis on WHM having to take up AOE heals seems like a punishment when they cannot reasonably heal back mp as fast. And blaming DPS is kind of a lousy excuse, since it implies the WHM has to be dependent on another person, while SCH can roam free.

For the record, I play SCH as my main. I love that class and even though I have a WHM that is equally geared, I constantly switch back unless there are Party Finder restrictions.
