    not sure if i will like it yet, my biggest prob is people already playing this game like the last years of ffxi. afk half the time and no chain and bursts. i can play any class in that game half afk and was hoping for something different this time, specially since the game started off with a system that was more what i was expecting. i loved ffxi though specially at launch so it can work, but the last years were way less exciting for grinding. all the new mmo's comming out aren't even adding a target let alone auto attack so i quess we ill se how this turns out.

    but either way how will this work with togling threw mobs? will it auto attack all of them while they sleeping or ones u don't want to attack get hit by it?

    so far... the auto attack looks badly slow, please SE, make it at least SLIGHTLY FASTER than FFXI!!!

    actually it was possible before, I ve done it, the major difference is that normally you can only do it if the monster is doing a WS, because otherwise it turns to face you. in this video the goblin was behaving pretty curiously, im thinking he was just a test dummy. his Auto attacks were some times fast sometimes slow, he was slow react to player movement in the lnc video, and apparently in the pug video.

    From what you said it looks like you werent managing stamina well, doesnt matter though, it will be gone soon.

    I assume they will he adding things like the haste spells and gear with haste on it as well as weapons with reduced delay that will speed things up.

    But then are we going to end up with haste or gtfo all over again.

    I think I posted in this thread at like 4:30a.m. when I woke up so I was pretty grouchy. Anyways the video looks cool, but that better not be all of the stuff battle-wise they implement into 1.18.

    If you had to do all kinds of razamataz tricks to pull of a move the system was in need of improvement this is a big step ahead of the current battle system.
    Now with weapon delay it adds another level of strategy when it comes to what weapons you use more power with higher single hit dmg/tp build or more speed with lower delay.
    Hope they add items so you dont see every pug lnc arch ect using the same crap as each other for say lvl 30 40 ect just because there is no reasonable alternative.
    I guess when you can slot weapons/armor with the materia system its gonna be nice.

    Not if it means losing TP+attk in the process. Depends on the overall balance of things.

    I rather have a good TP damage combo, on say a pug who seems to be sitting on butloads of TP, as oppose to a glad, who starved for TP because his TP usage is so freaking high.

    This is not FF11, where TP is 12-18, and 100% is the same as 199%, etc. Not to mention you get TP for a lot more things (and lose as fast)

    TP is going to be an actual tactical consideration. There shouldn't be a situation where you're sitting on TP or drain of TP if it plays out the way we think.

    TP is going to be the new front man offensively and maybe even defensively.

    Id rather a faster auto attack with lower damage, than a slow auto attack and higher damage, which is how it is now.

    How is it now? spamming 1111 until your tp fills and wait for stamina to catch up while casting cure?

    I rather have slow AA, because the delay of skills would offset any speed anyway. As long as TP keeps up, I get high WS damage modifiers.

    I bet you didn't play FF11 pre-TP nerf (when TP from WS can charge up half a bar). Everyone used high delay weapons. TP > speed.

    its not razamatza tricks its likely either the monster AI became a lot more stupid, or the goblin was just a test dummy for showcasing AA. his stun wore off, but he just stood there and waited to be hit. when the lancer moves to the side it stayed looking forward.

    essentially dont expect to do that in the actual game, or expect mobs to be really slow on facing the target who has hate.
