Yeah. I agree with you. Lahabrea could have been a very hard boss as he's a both a BLM and SMN in a way. Just liked to see what he'll become in later patches as he's not dead apparently.

Well if Praetorium (Hard) is introduced it will not have a harder version of Lahabrea since lore wise you are entering a part of Praetorium that survived Ultima's attack that contains experimental Magitek machines.

It most likely will only have Machine enemies, Machine Magitek bosses, and other enemies related to a Magitek research lab such as introducing old FF series enemies like...

They may even have Praetorium (Hard) as a new Story Dungeon for the Main Storyline where the final boss after Proto-Ultima would be Number 128.

This will allow Praetorium (Hard) to be the 3rd Dungeon we can have for Main Story Scenario Roulette.

Magitek based enemies are very plausible for the hard mode dungeon considering (I imagine anyone talking about this is already aware of the story for this dungeon so putting spoilers seems rather unnecessary but for the sake of being nice spoiler)





Nero was the only one to survive and we learned through the encounter in the final story dungeon that he is pretty much Cid's nemesis. So it wouldn't be out of the question to say all of these machine based enemies were created by Nero as an attempt to show that he's better than Cid.

Since Praet and CM don't have gear drops wouldn't make since to make a hRD mode for these dungeons.

Ultima didn't drop anything either though but we were given a hard mode version of that with loot. So you can't really count out these dungeons just because their normal version's have no loot.
