It was a joke.
I highly doubt SE would go to that extreme to introduce these primals again.
Most likely they'll just introduce a new Fire, Earth, and Wind Primal in the game instead that has completely different mechanics.
Yeah, but with Copperbell and Haukke, they invent a new story reason to return. The dungeons are just filled with new inhabitants.I'd honestly be surprised if they revisit Castrum Meridianum or Praetorium (which was all but blown up) simply because they were tied to major story arcs and technically shouldn't be revistable. Even though you had to go into Haukke and Copperbell for the main story, it's still within the realm of possibility that lesser monsters infested those areas.
As cool as Praetorium HM would be, its a flaming crater in the story now. They'd have to essentially create a brand new dungeon to reflect that aesthetic (which would then be a new dungeon, rather than a HM), or do something like Minstrel's Ballad.

What about some brand new dungeons and content that is not being recycled? Ifrit Story Mode, Hard Mode, Extreme Mode ; Haukke's manor normal mode, hard mode ; Ultima in praetorium, Ultima Hard Mode. I'm tired of "hard modes". I mean, come on SE, you got more imagination than that and a goddamn huge final fantasy games collection to refer to, make some new stuff instead of increasing the difficulty of some primals we've already seen enough.
Like I said they don't need to call it Praetorium (Hard) since the dungeon itself is the underground research lab we did not explore yet that survived Ultima's attack. They can simply call it Magitek Research Facility and have Magitek enemeis from FFVI as the enemies we fight. What about some brand new dungeons and content that is not being recycled? The Magitek Research Facility will have to go through a lot of work since we are not going through the same dungeon due to the part we have been to is now destroyed by Ultima's attack lore wise but through a new dungeon that is part of Praetorium we have never been in.
Ps why does a hard mode version of a dungeon come to mind people involve the Primals. Primals are not Dungeon content. They are Trial Content.
We already seen how they changed the dungeons between Normal and Hard Copperbell and Hakke Manor. They're the same place but are new dungeons with new bosses and mechanics completely separate from the Normal Mode bosses.
Have you people been playing too much other MMOs where their so called Hard Mode is the same dungeon as Normal mode with the same mechanics and bosses but with larger HP?

I just don't want more recycling, but some brand new dungeons. I feel like we're gonna get Sastasha Hard Mode and Halatali Hard Mode coming soon. Instead of spending time on trying to recycle all of these, they should work on some completely new stuff. We've spent too much time in Prae, WP, CM, AK, HM, etc...
Well yes we are getting 2 new Hard modes but they already said we are only getting 1 new dungeon per Major update with Ruins of Amdapor being the next new dungeon which is the remains of the City of Amdapor.
As of now it would be difficult to make a Praetorium (Hard) because it has been mostly destroyed but they can easily introduce a new Dungeon that is in the area of Praetorium.

I don't like the first one.
