    The Praetorium (Hard)

    Well with 2 Hard mode Dungeons per major update eventually they may reach this point since this story dungeon has the potential to have a Hard Mode version.

    Most likely it will have...

    1) a new path that goes deeper into a underground the research lab in Praetorium that survived Ultima's attack. During the path to Ultima you will notice in the underground lab there are several blocked paths that would lead to other parts of the research lab.

    2) Fight experimental magitek which introduce proto versions of future Main Story bosses and enemies.

    3) 1st Final Boss: Proto-Ultima Weapon.

    4) 2nd Final Boss: Number 128

    5) Theme is remix version fo FFVI Magitek Research Facility

    Reason for being there, lore wise, is to discover any data that remains in Praetorium and what kind of Allagan knowledge did Gaius obtained from Lahabrea.

    It may introduce old FF enemies such as..

    Chaser


    Magitek Armor


    Proto Armor


    Trapper


    Number 024 (1st boss)


    Number 128 (Last Boss after Proto-Ultima)


    So what do you think will be in Praetorium (Hard) if they introduce this place as a new 8 member dungeon.

    So because 1 patch had it means that every patch will have it? At least wait til something like 2.3 to come to a conclusion.

    2.2 will also be introducing 1 new Dungeon (Ruins of Amdapor) and 2 Hard Mode Dungeons. Their current plan is to introduce 1 new dungeon and 2 Hard Mode Dungeons per Major Update.


    Also, you people seriously have issue don't you. Copperbell Hard and Hakke Manor Hard may have the same name as the normal dungeon but they certainly are a different dungeons rather than the same dungeon with the same boss.

    Most of praetorium was destroyed after the normal version so Praetorium (Hard) will have to be designed as a new dungeon since we will be going into a part of Praetorium that was not in the normal mode dungeon with the first part being only the ruins of the top floor of the research lab we see in the normal version.

    I bet if they named Praetorium (Hard) as Magitek Research Lab you people wouldn't call this a recycled content.

    My bad I didn't know they already announced they were gonna do 2 more HM dungeons. Only knew about the new dungeon. I don't have issue with it as I rather enjoyed them both. I was just assuming you were assuming that this was going to be the plan and that they hadn't already announced it. So I was the ass this time. My only issue was the crap that drops in them.

    What? The new Main scenario quests have you randomly do level 15/30 guildhest, new dungeon Pharos Sirius just had gear shifted from Amdapor Keep into it because apparently creating a bunch of new cool looking gear is too hard. Treasure maps are just upscaled monsters in boring 1 minute encounters on a 18 hour cooldown with preexisting Aetherial pink items and useless old crafting mats (mostly) as rewards.

    I can probably think of more if you'd like.

    I highly doubt they'll do Hard Praetorium/Meri considering circumstances but from 1.x > ARR they chopped down some dungeon sizes so it's very much likely we'll see:

    TamTara Hard
    Satasha Hard (It was a hotpot of Cassopeia Hallows, Mistbeard Cove (or something) and Shosphae)
    Amdapor Ruins.

    Then we'll likely see:

    Toto Rak Hard
    Darkhold Hard
    (insert new dungeon)

    Hard mode of these dungeons would be fun but they seem very much complete (and ran through), the 'hard mode' copperbell for example based on 1.0's design still has room for further expansion actually.
