It's really, really not. The debuff/aoe from the nails is not a big deal at all, and that's the only thing melee has to deal with that ranged may not have to.

So ranged have issues with being tied to a tank and not being able to reach anything to dps? Interesting.

There are ways around wicked wheel but 99% of all people at that level are to stupid to do any of those strats. There is nothing anyone can do to deal with melee getting tied to the tanks.
