Too many poor DPS

It's doable with 1 tank 3 heals even with 0 relics in the party, as long as everyone's fairly competent at their jobs.

That's how I got my first relic, so I can attest that such a strategy is doable. Titan Hard Mode is a DPS/Healer/Boss Mechanic/Dodging/Patience check. About the only thing that doesn't need to be well-prepared for this fight is the tank, who just kind of sits there and holds threat while occasionally popping a defensive cooldown, but even then the tank has to be wary of Mountain Buster and have gear enough that he doesn't get face-checked and dropped by Titan's massive... fist.

Kind of agree with the tank not having to be well-prepared but more in the sense of... his mind haha. Mountain busters do a lot of damage and if not geared enough its possible to be one shotted. I only put my DL chest/helm thing on for this (since still working on ct one that never drops) just to give me the extra hp and parry haha.

there's no way to evaluate your skill as a dps. people bemoan damage meters all the time, but they are an excellent tool to improve how you play.

There are alot of bad tanks aswell. Same with bad healers. Bad tanks you seldom realize they are bad because they blame the DPS for "doing too much aggro" also they have the easiest job ever on Titan HM which is the fight most people see as "THE skillcheck".

Healers I have seen so many bad of at Titan HM aswell. Conclusion; Alot of the people stuck at Titan HM are bad. Good players passed him.
