mind=blown that people are actually defending the 2.5s GCD.

The combination of the insanely long GCD and off-the-GCD unresponsiveness due to animation locks adds up to combat that feels like somebody forgot to remove the training wheels.

A 2.5s GCD does not lead to more 'tactical' or 'meaningful' button pressing. HMMMM what should I use after this Fire is done casting? Oh I know! Another Fire. Then i'll follow that up with a Fire. After that I should cast another Fire. Then I can end with a Fire + Blizzard III. Or I suppose I could really adapt to this situation by doing Fire, Fire, Fire, Fire, Blizzard III. So many choices, so many different tactics.
