"In-Progress" queue fishing has to stop

Everything about queue fishers seems to reflect badly on the player. Implications include:
The player just wants a handout. They want the reward for doing the dungeon without doing the effort of doing most of the dungeon.
They're vultures, looking for parties that are suffering from harassing players, disconnects, someone quitting from the rest of the team being terrible (which makes the comment about finding a competent team via DF kind of laughable) or any other misfortune that befell them.
They don't care how it affects other queued players and when shown evidence, they will deny it.
They're not doing it to help the other teams, but to get their own rewards faster, showing their own selfishness.

Such self-centered parasites are a blight on the community. It makes me sad. I had such hopes. D:

By the way, what are you doing in game that's so important that you can't be bothered to do the whole dungeon?

Also take note of how each of these threads is one or two people trying to defend their actions, post after post, from an onslaught of angry players. If you don't mind being that guy, then by all means keep going.

if there was a way to queue for In Progress Only, i would do that. occasionally, i have 10-20 minute spare blocks of time which i can use to help out those types of groups but i don't actually have a full 30-90 minutes of time to run an entire dungeon.

it's not what i am doing it's what i will be doing. if my Coil group is set to start at 8 and it's 7:30, i have time to run something quick. if my FC/LS wants to farm Garuda EX but a few of them are in CT and just started on Atomos, i also have time to run something quick.

most of the time when this happens i just do my dailies but once those are done, there's not much to do in game besides afk and watch TV/youtube.

People wanting to cut to the end of the dungeon every time, not just when they have limited time but still want to be helpful. Combined with everyone else that is trying the same thing, it becomes really obnoxious for those trying to start a new party. So even if your intentions are noble and you are an exception to the implication, doesn't mean that everyone else is too.

when the "In Progress Only" queues gives those people nothing for an hour they'll learn not to be stupid about it. they can't constantly cut to the end when no one is dropping out, that becomes a supply and demand issue. if they know for a fact there are none to fish for, they'll stop fishing.

really, you don't want to start new parties with those people anyway. they might as well not exist.

Seeing as the only solution you guys have is to trick players into joining without knowing, how exactly is this supposed to promote those people who wanted in progress only to just give up and play with you? Honestly I'd be more inclined to not DF at all.
