So I've been making some gear solvers. I saw those ones made by Zigkid3 which were pretty awesome but kind of basic in how they worked and I noticed sometimes it was wrong due to the settings on the solver.
So I decided to improve on it a bit, build proper food calculations in (That takes into account the fact you wont always get the full effect), as well as putting a lot more gear in and factoring in strength and such.
So far I've done DRG and BRD and I'll be working on MNK next.

Very nice. Much better then the one I had put together for myself ^^ Thank you for sharing this.So I've been making some gear solvers. Those are amazingly clean, jesus. I was about to go and rework Zigkid3's spreadsheet, but I don't think I could've gotten it as nice as yours. Thanks for your work!
EDIT:
wut?
Is it because I downloaded it straight off Google Docs and acting like this? It's weird cause I've never encountered this issue before.
I believe it's safe at least; Scanned it with VirusTotal and came clean, then with AVG and Avast on my PC. Sorry, I'm just kinda paranoid when it comes to Malicious data.
EDIT 2: Turns out there's a validation error with that file, and that's why it triggers that Protected View warning. To get around it, click on the "Red Tab" at the top, then when you get to the new window, click "Edit Anyway".
If you want to bypass it:
1) File -> Save As... > Overwrite it, or new name
2) Mirror Link for Dragoon Sheet: https://www.mediafire.com/?f9khe582ggkc088

Erroneous misses can be caused by AOEs missing "unknown" targets or even single target abilities targeting through some sort of immunity (perhaps when Twintania transitions into dive bombs).
A clean miss basically should be an attack that is surrounded (before and after) by normal attacks that hit on the same target. Personally I don't care whether that miss is on a snake, dread, conflag, or Twint. To me all of those targets are relevant DPS checks.
You can see my controller set-up here:

I have the new L2/R2 "extra" bar thing bound to bar 3 (with bar 1 being my 'default') so I can access my Jumps fast.
And I know my rotation isn't "ideal" here; I'm still fighting muscle memory from 2.0 at this time

Can someone explain to me why we’re aiming for BiS with accuracy 482, and without deviled eggs?

My current profile with mixed wyrm/allagan/onion/DL gear shows a higher number:
http://ffxiv.ariyala.com/LJ7Z Gear Calculator shows 485 (+144)
http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...acter/3333410/ Lodestone shows 485
A clarification for this newb would be nice!
