3 days ban for checking the "Join in progress" box, and wanting to actually join a group in progress?
Are you for real?

which is why they should be separate.
Really, there needs to be 3 choices: The normal DF queue, the join any queue, and the in progress only queue.

It doesn't though. It just makes you think you're going to get in earlier but nope, you're not.
Also I propose week long bans for that poor, last dps that always seems to be afk right til the last second of a loooong q. How dare they interfere with my insta queues?!? :P

exactly this is what people dont understand is that when a tank withdraws from the queue pop its not extending their time. They are infact waiting the same amount of time as if that tank never queued to begin with.
It hinders people trying to get into content (thus proving it's a bad design) simply because someone wants to hop into a raid, get gear and get out of said raid if it drops and they get or it doesn't drop.
Is that honestly the point? They don't want to "simply join a group in progress", they want to join in only at specific points that benefits them the most and live right after. 3 day is pretty strict, but they should put at last a 5 minute cool down on people "fishing" which will let people who queue normally more likely to get in. They're starting to do this on primals now when there's NO reason beyond queue times to join a primal fight in progress as people dropping out are for a reason,

that or a punch right in the you-know-what(s) :|
But seriously, I believe you should only be able to check for an in progress run 5 times every half an hour (the timer starts once you begin the search) and if you decline all 5 of your given queues, you get the deserter penalty. It is really ridiculous sometimes.
But I also believe it really only needs to be limited to CT at the moment. Or maybe they could just remove the raid progress from CT's queue window.

You might consider actually reading what people write before responding.
I only suggested bans for REPEAT OFFENDERS. People who have received the suggested withdrawl penalty on three separate occasions. Just like with criminals on their third strike... you save the more severe penalties (bans) for the repeat offenders.

I've read it countless times to be sure I wasn't misreading. You might consider actually reading what people write before responding.

Withdrawing is not an "offending action". SE will never ban someone because they don't want to kill the Bone Dragon with you.
Get over it. Make a premade if it bothers you that much.

The conspiracy deepens.
3 Lalafel
Same server, same FC.
Angiline
Cichard
Mailstrum
All believe that one person's time is worth more than 23 peoples time.
According to the TOS there is no rule about showing up at your house and poking you in the eye with a spork. Still does not make it ok.
Does SE actually have to explicitly say something isnt ok before you will realize you were wrong? Can you imagine how long the TOS would be if they had to allow for every possible occurrence of douchbaggery?
Edit
Haha was doing just that!
