Just more of the toxic/elitist portion of the community. What should really matter is the quality of the person; their teamwork with others, their skill and ability, whether they are a positive or fun person to play with... and yet what it always boils down to with the superficial people is whether they are 100% Allagan, whether they have the rarest gear. The ones snarling about l33t gear are usually the most short, rude, and all around ill-tempered people I've ever seen in an MMO. I'd honestly rather play with kind people decked out in myth gear than assholes in allagan anyday.

(I am of course not saying that everyone with allagan is an ass, but you know what I mean.)

This game is a loot pinata. Any monkey could get full i90. I don't think I've ever seen an MMO with such a low bar skillwise.

i see a big difference skill wise in people who "buy" their ilv90 compared to those who "earn" them.

See I think this kind of stuff is just silly. I'm full myth WAR left side, full melded gryphonskin right side. I pass on tank coil drops every week because they look stupid compared to the WAR myth, and my class is built around that myth armor.

A person with full myth and no allagan is trash. Needs to have more than 2 pieces of allagan equipped to be good.

Actually this isn't that far from the truth, despite everyone picking on this post. Drops from T1 and T4 actually suggest that you know how to play your class. Drops from T2... well, they indicate nothing at the moment.

And yeah, the vast majority of people with Allagan weapons are more than likely quite skilled players.

Being i90 doesn't mean too much, the quality of the drops you have does though.

Yes ilvl doesn't equal player skill and most of the party finder parties with ridicolous requirements are just made by people who want to get carried and don't even have the ilvl themselves. But thats what we get with the implementation of iLvL do I like it no. But I can live with it.

*edit* to the people who say you need allagan (dunno if sarcasm) not all of us are lucky in coil. I'm running coil for about 3 month now and didn't get 1 drop yet. I swear healing gear doesn't exist in there.
