If Titan HM should have taught you one lesson...

... then how to dodge bombs. You fck up every Titan EX group if you haven't learned it because of "lulz one bomb is ok, healer heals me". In EX you eat your bomb and Titan stomps your crippled HP to 0. The only one allowed to eat one bomb is Tank and not DD.

One may assume if you pass Titan HM you're able to learn EM, but I was told better. Probably, I always get at least one Titan HM buyer in my group.

Not all Titan HM buyers are bad players by the way. Myself and my company sell Titan runs to earn gil for our plot. We get no end of people buying runs that have simply had enough of Duty Finder groups. We will probably do the same with Titan EX, once we can guarantee success; so that people, like yourself, can play along side other people that know what they're doing.

Just thought I'd address that misunderstanding.

Keep telling yourself that. People like you just want to profit off of other peoples lack of skills to buy a house, and now you try to downplay it. You are selfish.

I don't understand the stigma surrounding selling Titan kills; everyone we've taken through Titan were more than satisfied and sometimes pay more than we've asked. I don't understand who loses?

If you're going to tell me it's the fact that people are being boosted through, then never help a company member who's in peril. Let them wipe in the Duty Finder.

The stigma surrounding selling runs is because of the people who will not bother learning to play, and instead just use RMT to pay for wins, which will then enable them to fool people (once) into believing that they can play, because they have a relic.... Though by now enough Titan runs have been sold that a relic isn't an indicator of anything, which devalues it, which annoys a lot of people who got theirs without being carried, because it makes their accomplishment meaningless.

I probably could have worded that better, but that is why people don't like people who sell Titan runs.

Just because people didn't pay for it, doesn't mean they weren't carried.

Dude, this is how economy works in general, both in real life and in video games. When I lack the skill to make something myself I buy it from other people (or hire other people to perform the task), and those people profit from my lack of that particular skill.

True. I was carried. I quit 1.0 around level 15, people in my FC who got to 50 in 1.0 got there first and already had relics when I was ready for Titan. I didn't die and pulled my weight, but in my book that still counts as a carry... By that definition, though, it's very hard to get a relic without being carried nowadays anyway, since a win almost always uses someone who's already got theirs.

I would also agree with you about funding RMT if our prices were anything like there were during the first few weeks. We've never charged anymore than 100,000g which any player is able to make in a day or two; back when people were charging upwards of 400,000g I'd have gone with you on that.

It is a shame that not everyone can have the same experience I had, but it's really not possible; as half the feeling wasn't just the fact that we beat it in our rubbish gear, but also that not many others had. Killing Titan is no longer a gate between the skilled and the not so skilled, but simple story content that needs clearing for story progression.

If people want to feel special then Twintania is still proving a challenge for most people; that's your new gate.

Of course not. One person's skill at the fight cannot carry the whole party with it. Even if the person knows the entire fight by heart, can dodge like a beast, and is geared well enough for it, it doesn't mean anything if he can't find a successful group to run with. Such was the case with one of my FC members that had been trying to get a Titan kill for his relic for two weeks. He didn't pay for a carry and got his kill from a very lucky DF run the other day, but still, motivation for paying for a carry sometimes comes from desperation for a competent party, not a lack of personal skill.
