they really need to discontinue the join and join in progress as a simultaneous option. It should be one or ther other. You want to spam for end boss fine do so but at least you won't be holding up the 20+ other people who have been waiting 40 minutes to start.

Please no. how would that be holding anyone up. if nothing else, it would make your que shorter with someone getting an opening quicker.
I personally use join in progress because i'm not worried about getting the first boss or the second. on the converse i'm concerned about skipping ahead. i simply use it o make things quicker. joining a party where someone had to leave or rage quit. Doing so, i take myself out of the line faster so that others can que up quicker as a result

You misread I didn't say remove join in progress I said don't enable people to join both from the beginning and in progress queues. There will still be an in progress queue. How many times do you spam df before you get a 2/4? That's the problem. This morning had group formed in <30 minutes but it was another 40 or withdraw spam from people looking for in progress. If they were in there own seperate queue, start time would have been a lot shorter 30 min < 70 minutes.
