    Erm... the 30 runs per week are meant for people like me who are trying to get a particular item but failed to do so because RNG god just hate us or we somehow pissed off Hydaelyn unknowingly. So we will be rewarded if we tried enough times, or we can get lucky and got it on the first run. This token system was meant to be run together with the current looting system, meaning we can get random loot from box and/or purchase chosen loot with tokens. Hence I think it will make sense that these tokens should be reset to nil together with the weekly cap, and of course, 30 is just an example amount. I actually run 40 runs this week without getting the monk shirt I want yet

    This may get flamed...but..eh..whatever.
    I am kinda glad its only 1 piece per week because I don't have a whole heck of a lot of time to play. I wouldn't call myself casual but I have full time job, wife and 2 kids. I can't just play anytime.

    If CT was a kill as much as you wanted or just more loot being available I'd prioritize it more and I already have a large list of things I have to do when I log in. I also really dislike the zerg mentality you get in some groups. Group A charges in while Group B is still buffing. So doing it until I get a piece of gear is nice, then im done.

    I wish we could change that when peopel bail after loot. So incredibly rude and disrespectful to the other people.

    they are not going to shorten the timer, they put it in to extend the duration of the content. the thing that really sucks is stuff falling to the ground.

    easiest way to fix this. stop having the bosses drop loot. have the first 2 bosses drop a ticket for either Hands, Feet or Belt, the last 2 bosses drop a ticket for Head, Body or Legs. that way everyone who wants those slots will Need them and they can trade it in for the job they want.

    The reason they won't do gear tokens is obvious: it would accelerate the speed at which people got gear from LotA to the point where the utilization would go way down before 2.3 adds more dungeon to the dungeon. Squee is doing what they're doing to try to keep all the endgame content as close to 100% utilization as possible because they're strapped for cash.

    I suspect SE will give Yoshida some more money to play with if the subs hold after the second round of six month subscriptions get renewed. We can probably look forward to 2.3 being an impressive patch... if people don't get bored and leave before then. Letting FCs take a full premade into LotA will be a big step in keeping the social metagame alive.

    Problem is, there's better gear then taht and easily aquirable without having that before. So rather then keeping people running CT it just makes people end up getting i90 before completing that set, and probably stop running that place anyway. I could understand if it was BiS or something, but it's not. And it's only 5 pieces, if they wanted to keep people doing it I think they should have put accessories too (still wondering why they didn't).

    Probably to make sure there is a desire for players to run Ultima. It drops iLVL 80 neck and ring accessories.

    As for people swapping parties, the problem is healer can't see them as well, since they're not in group window and alliance window is more like "see someone low health, throw a heal, without even a clue of who that is".

    And I eat back all I said about drops coming easily...this week this haven't got anything. I was fooled the other week by dropping early enough in the week and seeing a load of healer gear after capped. Bard and tank gear, those I've never seena ru without a drop of! But seriously, counting a CT run takes about an hour and half, can easily be frustrating because people are people, and doens't give guaranteed loot....yeah getting a myth piece is faster :/

    Really? Isn't it like, harder then extreme primals? (never done it yet) Not quite the same level as CT...

    I would put it in the same category as other HM fights. Its pretty easy if you know the mechanics, assuming you have the DPS to beat the self destruct timer. The first 50% or so everything is easy to dodge except for Tank Purge because it does raid wide AOE damage. Most of the problem is with Aetheric Boom. The orb mechanics require your party to stack in order to evenly distribute the damage when they blow up (it can also be done by having tankers solo the damage). Have tank use lvl3 LB on last Aetheric Boom and burn him down ftw. Overall, CT is an easier run though.

    We didn't have any issue with that, we got the healer from the alliance party to help patch up our member. Besides, range DPS shouldn't get hit if the tank is doing things right.

    Yup... I found that most people who are against the loot + token ideal are usually those who are in good favor of the RNG god or just-grab-any-gear-they-can type of players. Those who actually did more than 20+ runs in a week for a specific drop usually welcome my ideal :/

    I actually had a 3000+ characters post before my proposal on why I love the CT system together with the BC and mytho token system and the balance of the three system, but decided to spare others from the wall of text and only post my proposal instead.

    Long story short, CT will be fine as it is now if it drop ilvl 90 gears too, but it didn't. From what I understand, it was meant to be buffer between ilvl 70 and ilvl 90 gears, vanity system, or just gearing alt jobs. Hence, it should be much easier to obtain as compared to the BC/myth loots. Isn't what we have now kinda absurd? To make a buffer/vanity set actually tougher to collect than end game gears, but then again, like I always said; screw game logic...
