1. You merely assert that they would be fun and have proven nothing. Those areas would serve no purpose other than to inflate epeens and I have to believe that is the only reason players want them back.
Actually, it's nothing to do with this. I genuinely only want them back so we me and my friends can have a laugh while taking on a tough enemy. Right now we kill things in about three seconds when we all go and hit an L50 mob together. It's very, very boring. As for inflating epeens, you may as well remove endgame entirely if you think that anything people might consider worth cheering over is a bad thing. I wouldn't be doing it for the epeen anyway, I'd just be doing it to hang out with all my pals without having to resort to instances. Note: I have more than seven pals online sometime, hence the instances not really helping that much for it.

3. Class quest fights, retrival quests, the main scenario save for dungeons would like a word with you in regards to "not a game people are supposed to solo".
So basically apart from the parts you have to do in a group, you feel that this game is completely solo-able. Er...? I mean, that's on part with someone suggesting you can NEVER solo because aside from the parts you have to solo, you have to do everything as a group. =|

4. That was 1.0s model and that model failed and failed hard. This is a streamlined game for the new era of gamers who prefer streamlined campaigns, stories and scenarios. The world of mmos has changed. You either turn with the world or you watch it spin.
Or you ask for additional content to suit all kinds of players. There is literally zero harm in what I am suggesting, it is only additional content, there is nothing wrong with adding it.

The truth is people didn't want the headaches of FFXI to be reborn into FFXIV. The over use of prism powder and silent oil get around wasn't hard, just annoying. The claim fights over HNM were tiresome. The game does need more open world content but not lv70 mobs running around just of the sake of fluff.
This post mostly regards HNMs and things you have to camp are not what I'm discussing. I'm talking about mobs similar to those which are already in the game, but at a high level. So, imagine that in a certain area of Coerthas, the Ice Sprites were L70, for example. It would harm nobody as there would still be other lower level Ice Sprites, the L70 mobs wouldn't aggro to anyone unless they were attacked, the time it takes to implement this would be negligible compared to other features... not sure where the problem is tbh.

People can call anything in this game 'fluff' if they want to. Job crystals? Fluff. Housing? Fluff. Extreme primals? Fluff. So yes, this would absolutely be fluff. Wonderful, glorious fluff that some people might actually enjoy.

EDIT: Also, the player polls don't seem to have anything saying they don't want this kind of option, so I'm not sure what you're getting at with regards to that.
