OP just lost a whole week of his life! Gone! Wasted! How can you say such a heartless thing!
@Vanroe sorry I didn't mean to direct that at you, it's just a general response to the thread. I would agree the patch notes were, well, awful for the most part xD
ppl has 5 MINs to CLICK 2 buttons (on loot window and pass....)...but the problem is how the system works?
Not even that. He clearly pressed the loot window button to check what the look was (or it opened itself, I don't know). Since he saw what the loot was, he just chose to ignore the pass button when it was right infront of him.
Moogle: Black Mage ftw.

Here's a link to a bunch of rotation and DPS numbers I wrote up to try help BLM see they aren't as weak as they might think.
how about next time you just click pass ? problem solved
Then click pass and dont let another person wait 5 minutes for his loot? All because you assumed it would be passed, you were too lazy to click twice?
Seriously two clicks, how many buttons did you push to make this post?

I just had this happen to me. We where running low on time and we rushed the final boss after Behe. I was so caught up explaining the fight while we ran that I completely forgot about the loot. A bit before the last boss died some Crimson hat that I wont ever use auto-dropped to me...
Call it what you want, heat of the moment, pressure, idiocy, w/e. The fact is I did NOT roll for this piece of gear and I shouldn't have to be locked out the ENTIRE week for a piece of gear I will never use.

It would definitely be a nice addition to auto-pass if no action has been taken when running the Crystal Tower to counter the loot lockout system. Also, as CT will most likely not be the last dungeon/raid with this kind of mechanic, the complaints will continue to pile up. We are people, not bots, we make mistakes which include forgetting to press the pass button!I just had this happen to me. We where running low on time and we rushed the final boss after Behe. Honestly, people shouldn't be complaining when people fail to read patch notes regarding to such mechanics as these. It's been stated that you had to roll need or greed or click pass rather than ignoring it. It was done for a good reason, too often people don't click on the options forcing another person to wait 5 minute for their loot. So, this is the penalty for not clicking pass. So quit complaining and take that 2 seconds to click pass, or suck it up with the loot you don't want and remember to click pass next time. This will not get changed and eventually people will smarten up and stop being lazy and click pass so that another person can have the loot without waiting for it.
regardless of what it says, if you actually took a moment to think about it you would say "yeah i should prolly pass on this loot if i dont want it, because more than likely if i dont and ill get stuck with it, and ill get the loot lockout."Did you somehow miss the three people or so trying to tell me that the phrase "the time permitted in the instanced dungeon" is supposed to refer to the actual loot timer and not the dungeon timer? Because several people keep saying that it does, even though I see no way that could be the case.
pretty sure they wouldnt implement a lockout just so people could bypass the system, by intentionally passing to someone who didnt roll.
