Actually, we did kill the eggs, only glowing ones, took the damage from the stun but healed it back up, just stay spread out so it doesn't hit everyone in 1 go and if it's coming to you, hit a buff to reduce the damage or swiftcast stoneskin. Only one person didn't get to the middle the first time Siren did it but caught on afterWhile I agree, and I guess it's entirely possible, I guess it seems counter-intuitive to me to just fight a boss and know all of the mechanics well enough as they occur the first time, and have no wipes. Like, you had to know to get in mid on siren. You had to know to not break eggs (or more than one) to proc the AOE stun wipe. You had to know these things because failing them is pretty much a guaranteed wipe.
You knew these things without ever seeing the instance or knowing anything about it? You must be a god among gamers!

But without ever even seeing anything or talking to guild or reading anything about any of this, YOU KNEW that if you hit 2 eggs, you needed to spread out to avoid the huge blast. And when that bird has 16 stacks, it basically kills its stun target. Yet, you guys didn't have that problem. And then after the bird kills that target, it goes on to the next. I mean, wow. I am impressed.Actually, we did kill the eggs, only glowing ones, took the damage from the stun but healed it back up, just stay spread out so it doesn't hit everyone in 1 go and if it's coming to you, hit a buff to reduce the damage or swiftcast stoneskin. And YOU KNEW that siren was going to go to middle and AOE charm everyone, which is virtually impossible to heal out of to avoid the lock up. Yet you guys saw her one time and did exactly what you needed to do without ever knowing what she was going to do from experience or conversation or a strategy forum/guide/post.
That's my point. I want to play with you guys. How did that even go down?
Bob: Okay, I wonder what this boss does?
You: I don't know. But what we need to do is kill both eggs, then spread out to avoid the 16 stacks of rage which causes the bird to blast a large AOE stun, usually followed by an aoe gale, between both we will likely die. When that happens, just heal it up like a pro and we won't wipe like everyone else who makes the mistake of killing both eggs.
Bob: Great job, what about this Siren?
You: Well, she looks a little like Garuda, so I think when she disappears to one edge, we need to get beside her or to the left/right to avoid her cone blast. Then when she is in the middle, we need to get on her in the middle to avoid the AOE charm debuff.
Hoki: Oops, I got charmed.
Shinobi: No problem, I got you bro. I just need to heal you to full to break that charm I've never seen before.
Hoki: Thanks!
You: Remember, get in middle next time.
Hoki: Roger!
You: You see those adds I intuitively know she is about to spawn?
Hoki: Yeah, I can see them in the future.
You: Well, you need to kill the Sargents because if you don't, and they get to you, you're locked up until they're killed.
Hoki: Okay!
You: Good job guys! We one-shot everything in here based on intuition and magic ESP. We still have 40 minutes on the clock. Let's go dance in Mor Dhona.
Shinobi: No way. Let's go do Titan Extreme. I have a feeling I know everything that will happen and we can one-shot that, too.
You: Yeah, something tells me he will do a 5-way landslide. I also have this feeling that the 2nd boss in Haukke HM will have spinning swords and clouds that blast at whoever is near them and blue lines on the floor we need to get out of. There will likely be adds.
Shinobi: I can't WAIT to do Haukke Manor HM. I feel like that the last boss will spawn Lady Amandine as one of the adds! It's going to be sick! Let's one-shot that too!
Hoki: Yeah.
You: Yeah! Let's go!

Seems I skimmed too much. I was referring to this point:
So, again, I say your logic is faulty, because nobody should have to be in ilvl 60 gear in order to do a dungeon that drops i60.4) Most of the people complaining and asking for a nerf haven't even tried it in full ilvl60 gear. "It's too hard because we can't ignore mechanics and burn through it," is what I'm seeing. I have several LS mates that started the game late and average ilvl60-65 and have completed every one of the new HM dungeons. It was by no means easy, but they did it.
We started off not killing the eggs until the message popped up, so I blasted them, it also shows the buff on the boss that you can read what it does and notice it gains more stacks when adds die >.>You: I don't know. Same again, when you get hit, it puts a debuff on you, most people would highlight over it to see what it does, it also tells you exactly that if you're not at full hp when it wears, you get charmed.
People knew about that landslide when they saw the video (most people did) so that's nothing new, plus I joked about that when they announced extreme mode, turns out, they did it lol
Should be reasonable that if theres a spinning scythe (its a scythe, not that it matters), you shouldn't touch it. OH JOY! SPINNING SCYTHES? IMMA RUN INTO THAT!
I assume you mean the cloud from the void near the door? That just hits anyone, I've been across the room and got hit by it. Again, if something glows under you and no one in your pt did it, it's not a good thing and you should run from it, seeing as how it lights up in a line across the floor.
Same thing, who goes into a boss fight they've never done and goes "Hey guys, look at this add, let's completely ignore it!" Unless said person has never played a mmo or any type of game in their life, they should know that the less mobs beating on you, the better. After the second add being eaten, you should have noticed that she does her AoE based on the add's hp, if you paid attention to the hp and how much damage you took.
Also lol at that conversation

No, I totally agree! Totally 110% agree. I saw the charm icon and read it the first time I saw it. What we didn't do was go to her in mid. I saw her and said "I bet we need to be at the edge, maybe like Titan? Less damage if at edge?" and then BAM, everyone was AOE charmed and I couldn't heal us out of it to break the debuff in time. We learned after that by seeing if we could avoid it by stacking on her. But it took us a couple of wipes to learn what happened when we did or didn't do X.We started off not killing the eggs until the message popped up, so I blasted them, it also shows the buff on the boss that you can read what it does and notice it gains more stacks when adds die >.>

Also lol at that conversation
So, I am really impressed if you indeed one-shot these things with no prior knowledge. Yeah, get out of this and that and you won't die. But some of the mechanics are tricky. Like, on that 2nd boss in Haukke, I ended up getting stuck in blue on a weird pattern I wasn't expecting, right by one of the scythes, right as an add popped. So we wiped once, and got it down on the 2nd try.
I guess my point is even playing as intuitively and proactively as I do, I expect to wipe on new content. But you guys just burn it down like water, and I am jealous. I feel like I am not as pro as I need to be.
Glad you liked the conversation. It was meant to be entertaining hyperbole, and it seems you got that.
I thought that too, went to the outer edge and got hit lol
The jagged one? A few people went to go run away like the first one but found the small spots just in time, not sure if the tank got hit though, I'm blm, I don't look at their hp, only the floor around me and the boss' hp occasionally lol
I was surprised too, I heard a bunch of people saying how hard and unforgiving it was and was like "That was it?" when we won lol Same thing about Ultima, though we did wipe on that, but had pretty good teamwork
If you think the new dungeons are easy, you're overgeared.
To beat them at the minimum gear requirements, I think you need to know every fight very well and have some skill.
Your average player at minimum gear level won't cut it, IMHO. Maybe one person can be carried if they're like that, but each role is a liability then, like having a poor healer on Pharos Sirius' final boss encounter.
