    1) People are unfamiliar with mechanics, do the dungeon once, then qq that it's too hard because they clearly know the best way to deal with every fight already.

    2) In certain situations, when the DPS is too high, the fight becomes much harder than it would be if people were geared in full ilvl60 gear. For example: adds popping at certain %'s of a Boss's HP.

    3) The ilvl req. is the absolute bare requirement simply just to allow people to enter an instance. Yes, a full party of average players with this ilvl will most likely not be able to complete the content. People are confusing minimum req. ilvl with a suggested ilvl for an entire party. It is not the same.


    4) Most of the people complaining and asking for a nerf haven't even tried it in full ilvl60 gear. "It's too hard because we can't ignore mechanics and burn through it," is what I'm seeing. I have several LS mates that started the game late and average ilvl60-65 and have completed every one of the new HM dungeons. It was by no means easy, but they did it.

    I want to call BS on this so badly. Unless you read strategy in advance, in which case, your 0 wipes/no exp is completely erroneous to talk about.

    So far I have been able to clear all the HM dungeons fairly easily (still haven't done CM). Of course we wiped a few times, but generally straightforward.

    So do it. Have everyone in 48 gear, no cheating, item level 48 onry, and let us know how it goes. Until then it's all speculation and will probably remain speculation until someone(meaning a group of friends/FC members prepared with the correct testing gear) makes a point to challenge SE's so called gameplay balance with their average item level dungeon requirements, which is more than likely balanced so that one or two people can be carried through a fight with lv48 gear by higher level players.

    I admit that I'm not likely to nag my group to try it out so I very much do not and will not expect another group to care any more than I do about it, and I doubt anyone does. So I guess this entire thread is pointless for discussion? I guess. But I will say this: I've always called BS on their so called balance, and I too would love to see four dedicated people put this business to the test. But I ain't holding my breathe because people have better things to do. It doesn't really matter anyway because outside of duty finder, to the players, these places have a hell of a lot larger "average item level" than SE does. WP speed run relic +1 pst!

    Your logic is faulty here. A party shouldn't require iLVL 60 gear to get...iLVL 60 gear. That's what the OP is saying.

    It could be SE's logic that is faulty, it might honestly be tuned to i60 for comfortable difficulty, and the ilevel req leaves no margin for error. It's not the first time this has happened in an mmo

    My only complaint about the two new dungeons is this:

    CopperBell HM- Final Boss, if you don't have a ranged DPS character to feed the worm chances are in a random PUG group you are doomed because either 1) The DPS are too dumb to avoid the worm while seeking a crystal rock to put down or 2) Getting the rocks takes too much damage off the boss to finish before you run out of crystals. I find that while I can handle doing the initial feeding on healer, once he starts doing AoE damage with Impact Roar, I need to focus on healing to keep the tank and dps killing adds alive.

    Pharos- I love the dungeon but there are two things that I really wish would get changed/fixed to make it a bit less than of a headache for me (the healer)
    1) First Boss: Allow Esuna to at least remove one stack at a time of the buff. The AoE indicators pop up but the ability fires too quickly to get out of so if he focuses that attack on anyone but the tank, they're nearly one shot... most of the time the person that gets the focus is the healer and we're already having enough stress with being the initial focus of all the adds that spawn. This dungeon is absolutely punishing to healers and this would alleviate some of the headache without making the boss too much easier.

    2) Siren: The AoE healing debuff is brutal. I'm not saying get rid of it, but having a class that can stun it reliably is asking quite a bit of a random PUG group I think and that debuff has to get stunned. It's hard to recover from with all the damage that happens throughout the fight.

    I've only done Copperbell HM, but I DF'ed it, ilvl around 56-60, and we beat it with 1 wipe where the elevator is missing. Mobs were waiting on us after we fell and lost almost all HP. It was fun, and the Lords gear looks better than Hoplite gear.
