Some may like it. Some will not. That is what choosing jobs is all about. I don't enjoy playing casters. That does not mean that casters should not be in the game.

Did people say no to Blue Mage in FFXI? This is very similar with the exception of taking on all aspects of the mob itself. I enjoy seeing classes that have been in the FF series, but people don't know much about. Die hard fans appreciate every bit of the Final Fantasy Series.
Indeed! This topic had some random trollage for a few pages, but now it seems to be back on rails. Unfortunately the last Q&A said theyhave no plas of adding "another" gatherer class, which means shepherd might be gone for good. So, right now, i guess beastmaster does would be the most logic way of branching such jobs.

And you got a good point. Morpher and Blue mage are pretty similar jobs...and while it's the most asked class at wanted jobs' topic, here people bash the morpher. I think its in part due the rarity of morpher appearing in games so more recent fans actually don't know the job...because in short comparing BLU and morpher is like comparing BLM and RDM...blu has one skill from each monster and morpher, instead, uses the full aspects of a single monster.

Hopefully we will have more constructive posts here since devs does said they might be adding more batches f jobs later on so morpher does have a chance of going live someday! ^^
